It felt like a home from home and is in a cracking spot to walk to the Island etc

A member of staff came to welcome us with a parking permit within 10 minutes of our arrival and they were so helpful

Lovely quirky house, frosted glass windows were great for privacy. 2 good sized double rooms very spacious. Great to have the washing machine and washing line. Great to have a coffee machine. Had coffee, tea, milk, sugar on arrival, shampoo body wash. Really like how the bins were set up inside. Very close to shops. Very spacious for 6 of us.

Property pictures seem slightly inaccurate eg some stains on carpet areas in living room, decor not as new and fresh. Some stains on the duvets after removing the sheets which wasnt pleasant. Cleanliness was basic, attention to detail needs completing. Only 3 dinner forks so for 6 of us was a bit disappointing. The sofa wasn't overly comfortable to sit on. Smell of Cannabis on many occasions whilst sat in the patio area (no fault of the owners but off putting) Our preference would have been a double and a twin room instead of 2 doubles due to having our 4 children with us.

Two of the bedrooms where really nice. Fans in every bedroom wich was good.

First of all I knew about the deposit of £250, but once you paid your nights you where given an option to go away from booking.com and pay extra 30 pounds non refundable or 250 deposit refunded within 5 days. I chose 30 pounds, but by then, the property was not cheap for 3 nights. Then they where cameras inside the house on entrance and 'garden'. We where not given the code on our check in day. Took us 40 min to email someone to get our code as we tryed to call with no answer. Then on entrance into the property we discovered that they where no washing up liqid, no sponge for dishes. Very tiny amount of soap in every sink. And in shower shanpoo/shower gel where a bit better, but you can clearly see they where different colours. Those are such a details who can be rectified so easily. Next day instead of Barry beach we spend the morning shopping for those things. And one more thing the neighbours constantly smoked weed and it's sipping into the property, wich is not the owners fault, but it's ruined our stay. And one of the pictures where with no print in it. And fireplace was not cleaned. Quite disappointed as we where looking forward to our stay.
