Santíago Retreat

Lovely house and nice location just out from the town centre so was nice and quiet, facilities were very clean and comfortable.

Too many warning signs not making the home feel welcoming or homely - was almost like you couldn’t do as they said ‘ relax ‘ as you darent touch anything for fear of not complying to the request. The hot tub did not seem clean - water discoloured and was too foamy rather than bubbly. Theres no wardrobes in any of the rooms nor bins upstairs. The one thing that needed a sign and it didn’t have one and that was what you could and couldn’t put down the food waste. The curfew time for the outside lights and hot tub was far too early for a holiday let. No door mats or bath mat for floors that get extremely dangerous when wet.

Check in was really late considering how early we had to check out.

Modern light and very clean

It was new, fresh and clean

It was advertised as having a washing machine and a sauna however it had neither. The outside lights which lighted the whole house front and back like daylight were on a timer which never turned off during the night…super hard to get any sleep!
