Central Club Hotel - North Melbourne

Easy location, clean , comfy, my room was a corner of the building and very cool set up with bath and beautiful windows looking to the Melbourne streets

Easy access. Soundproofing in my room was very good and better than I expected given the hotel is on a busy road. No noise at all.

Convenient location, the room was nice and clean and modern. Good amenities! Bed was very comfy and nice and big. Room was spacious!

When we arrived we were given the code and room number of a guest who was already staying there. We had access to his room which he was staying in and just by luck we met him outside as the code for his door wasn’t working and we figured out then that we had the same room number. He contacted them and they moved us into another room which was fine and his hadn’t been cleaned that day anyways. On the 3rd day of our stay we assume the same thing happened to another guest as we were sitting in our room during the day and they were able to open our door with our code. Obviously this is a huge breach of privacy! Lastly we were not given fresh towels until the 3rd day and the only reason we got them was because we went downstairs to ask them in the restaurant attached (we did not know this was something you had to ask for). They did not clean our room either until the Saturday which was our second last day (we stayed for 6 nights). We also had to message them a few times before they replied! I think having some reception staff would help or else having a better messaging service with the manager.
