ASCEND【2min from Asahikawa sta】

This place was great, all the amenities you could need. Close to the station, middle of the Main Street with plenty of restaurants, less than 5 minute walk to the bus for ski resorts.

I’d give this place a 10 but the bed was rock hard.

Everything you need in one place. Convienently located and cute decorations.

Very cold as it’s on the ground floor and the small heater has a hard time warming up the whole place. The extra duvet was needed. Also missing some amenities like some tea, coffee, laundry detergent, etc.

The best thing this place offered is the location. It is close to the main street from the station where you can find many restaurants.

First, the room is right at the front of the building on the first floor. Even there were not that many cars, but we can hear the outside noise from within the room. As the room is located near many restaurant, we can also hear noise from people walking and talking at night. The building is not that soundproof, we can hear a noise from the next room as well as the room above us. Second, the bathroom has pink mold. Look like it was not well clean. The soap / shampoo provided in the room also seems to be diluted. Last, the bed and the blanket are not comfort for us.
