Apartament Plaja Modern Black Sea

I liked the location close to the beach and to any facilities around. The terrace outside is nice, especially in summer I guess. A lot of equipment to cook, prepare coffee, wash dishes... You can be independent during your stay there. The owner was attentive and available all the time with WhatsApp. Really clear and helpful.

It is in the basement but very warm. but it must certainly be a great bonus during the summer heat (especially with the terrace!).

Hosts: The hosts are wonderful people, very friendly and sincere in wanting guests to be comfortable and enjoy the stay. My stay was a month, longer than probably usual. This gave me a long time to assess the stay and use the apartment. I can't say enough good things about the hosts and how welcoming they are and enjoyable people. Location: My stay was for seeing the city, enjoying Black Sea views, checking out the food and culture. The apartment is 1 minute from overlooking the sea from above. Access to the huge beaches is easy and by crossing one street, the access down the stairs to several beaches is a minute away. The marina area is surrounded by restaurants and usual tourist things to do. The marina can easily be accessed via the beaches minutes from the apartment or by walking down the streets through the huge square overlooking the sea and the port. I walked about 500 km while I was there and I saw much of the area many times. I enjoyed the walking and seeing all the roses in bloom and flowers that are all around. Restaurants: The apartment gives you easy access to more restaurants and food shops than one can count and the variety is as broad as it can be. Sushit, American, Lebanese, Turkish, Greek, Romanian - Eastern European, Chinese - are just a few. The City Park Mall has a huge food court with American food franchises and a large array of others. This large shopping mall is 2.2 km from the apartment and less than 20 lei ($3-$5 USD). Tomis Mall and walking mall are 5 minutes away with shopping and many restaurants and shops available. Coffee shops are everywhere including Starbucks about a 7 minute walk from the apartment. Food Stores: The apartment is equipped with kitchen facilities, and I used them. There is a grocery market 5 minutes away. The Tomis Mall and City Park Mall have Mega Image stores in them with a larger food variety. There 2 large stores 1.2 km away, Lidl and Kaufland are near the bus station near Ferdinand

I was there to see the city and enjoy seaside views. I was NOT disappointed. I don't have anything to dislike. Guests should be aware from the listing that the apartment is a basement type location so sunlight is not available all day.

Cazarea la aceasta locatie a fost una de care cu siguranta ne vom aminti cu drag, si la care vom reveni! O curatenie absolut impecabila, ambient placut, (fiind luna aprilie a fost necesara un pic de caldura- afara fiind racoare, insa vara spunea gazda ca nici nu e necesara pornirea aerului conditionat, intrucat tin peretii o temperatura constanta) o gazda minunata, plina de solicitudine, facilitati diverse si complete la bucatarie si in camere, intr-un cuvant, totul minunat! De la cazare se ajunge usor pe malul marii iar pe jos nu faci foarte mult nici pana la Lupoaica, Piata Ovidiu, etc. Apartamentul este la un fel de demisol, insa este foarte bine iluminat, cu ferestre, etc. De asemenea, are o ventilatie excelenta, atmosfera este foarte ok! Nu ne-a lipsit nimic! Totul a fost la superlativ! Recomand fara retinere aceasta cazare!

Fiind extrasezon, ne-am descurcat cu parcarea, insa cred ca in sezon trebuie gasita o varioanta de parcare cu plata in zona... (exista mai multe in zona spre centru, etc). Gazda, extrem de amabila, ne-a explicat toate variantele de parcare...

Ne a placut pozitia, aproape de plaja (desi dupa doua coborari/urcari a scarilor spre plaja nu ne mai simteam picioarele), faptul ca am avut loc de parcare, liniștea zonei si aproape de parcuri/carrefour express/zona pietonala.

Din pacate apartamentul este la demisol, lucru nementionat nicaieri, aflat dupa ce am realizat plata pentru rezervare. Aceasta a fost pentru noi primul semnal ca ceva nu este ok. O gazda corecta precizeaza aceste detalii inca de la inceput, nu afli dupa ce achiti. Am comunicat pe WhatsApp cu proprietarii, ne au precizat din primul mesaj ca este situat la demisol, dar ca nu sunt probleme(am intrebat de umezeala, de miros, stiind ce presupune un apartament la demisol) si ca avem posibilitatea de anulare in 24 de ore a rezervarii deja achitate, deci o bataie de cap pt noi, desi normal era sa aflam din anuntul initial ca este apartament la demisol.. Am hotarat sa continuam cu acceptarea rezervarii, pozele si cele spuse de proprietar convingandu ne ca nu vor fi probleme. Din pacate sunt probleme mari in sensul in care umiditatea in interior este de 90% si cu un dezumidificator tinut aproape încontinuu in mod de functionare abia reușeam sa scadem la 66%. Duminica a plouat (torential maxim 15 minute), in interior umezeala, racoare, desi periodic mai porneau caloriferele, pe pereții uneia dintre camere(cea fara dezumidificator) apa se scurgea la propriu pe jos! In dulapuri este miros de umezeala, pe pereti se vad puncte de mucegai, nu stiu cat de sanatos este sa petreci sejurul intr un astfel de mediu, si din pacate situarea la demisol nu a fost ok pentru noi (2 adulti si 2 copii). Fata cea mare a plecat cu nasul infundat si acum, la doua zile de la revenire acasa, in continuare are nasul infundat si stranuta. Corect era sa se mentioneze de la inceput ca este un apartament la demisol, pozelor sa nu le fie aplicat filtru de lumina pentru a parea luminoase cand nu poti sta decat cu becul aprins continuu si conditiile reale de cazare (umezeală mare, miros specific, urme de mucegai, necesitatea functionarii in permanenta a unui dezumidificator care deranjeaza sonor , plus trebuie golit periodic, luminozitate redusa...).
