Studio'24 - Adults Only

The studio (was really a one-bedroom) was clean and spacious. Great coffee machine in the kitchen. Parking right outside the gate was convenient. Easy and clear check in.

The lack of privacy was the biggest issue for us. An older couple and a child (among others) frequently walked through the courtyard. That might have been fine in theory but the front of the studio is glass so they had a clear view into the living room and bedroom - very disconcerting and not private feeling. I was also surprised that there was no laundry soap (given there were cleaning products of every other kind). The road in front of the studio was under construction so it was a bit noisier than it otherwise would have been. It's a fair walk to the old town.

The location is very good, central, within walking distance to most attractions, the old town and some nice coffee shops and restaurants.

This is the second time we’re staying here. The first was last year. Both times we thought that the cleanliness left much to be desired. Most notably, there were visible spider webs in all the rooms and many large strands of hair both on the floors and on the bed sheets — which looked like they hadn’t been changed prior to our arrival. We encountered two spiders: one in the bathroom, in the shower area, and another which had crafted webs in a shoe of mine over night, in just a couple hours. I was lucky to see the webs before putting the shoes on. We managed to get rid of it but were surprised at how big it was. One last thing that was a minus to us is how we’ve been treated by the owner. The lady that greeted us upon our arrival was very suspicious of us when we told her which room — that being the most expensive out of all — we had our reservation for, as well as telling us that we were to check out one day earlier than expected. When we told her that the date she mentioned was incorrect, she replied saying she’ll check our reservation “to see exactly who we are”.
