Until recently run as an inn, the Lindenhof with its 2 cosy parlours, 9 rooms, 7 bathrooms, spacious kitchen, extensive garden with playground is now available to larger groups up to 35 people as a self-catering holiday home.
THE REGION
The Lindenhof is located directly on the Drau cycle path R1 at the foot of the Lienz Dolomites or Hohe Tauern in Upper Carinthia, Austria, and this region offers countless opportunities for anyone who appreciates unspoilt nature, mountains, peace and quiet and no crowds of tourists to switch off and find themselves again. Be it on a hike in the mountains, a climbing tour through gorges, a bike ride to the small town of Lienz 20 kilometres away, kayaking on the Drau, on the beaches of the surrounding bathing lakes or simply in a deckchair or hammock on our farm.
IN WINTER
The Lindenhof is not located in a ski area. Even better! It is in the centre of 30 ski areas!
Of these, 16 can be reached in 15 to 50 minutes by car!
Tobogganing by day and night - possible on over 30 toboggan runs in East Tyrol and Upper Carinthia! Guaranteed fun for young and old!
In just 30 minutes by car you can reach the ice-skating Mecca of Weissensee - the largest prepared natural ice rink in Europe!
Over 250 three-thousand metre peaks, more than 1500 square kilometres of untouched nature and secluded valleys are just waiting for you to put on your skins!
