Welcome to your perfect lakeside getaway! Nestled just a stone's throw away from the serene shores of Lake Macatawa and Lake Michigan, this inviting 4-bedroom, 1.5-bath home promises a retreat like no other. With a spacious layout, a large backyard, and ample hangout areas, this charming property is your ticket to relaxation and memorable moments. The fully equipped kitchen is ready for you to whip up delicious meals for your group. The adjacent dining area and walk out deck is perfect for sharing meals and stories, creating lasting memories with family and friends
Located in close proximity to Lake Macatawa, water enthusiasts can take advantage of various activities, from boating and fishing to lakeside strolls. Nearby parks and trails provide opportunities for nature walks and bike rides, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of the surroundings.
1.) No smoking. All of our rentals are non-smoking. 2.) You and your guests are using our home at your own risk. We nor the owner of the property will be held responsible for any injuries that occur at the vacation rental or for any lost or stolen items. 3.) Do not move the furniture. 4.) Each cottage has a maximum number of guests that is listed on this contract you must verify that it is correct. That number is not to be exceeded - this includes children and adults. For fire safety, we are required to limit the number in each home. If additional people are found to be staying at the cottage the entire group will be asked to vacate with no refund. Inflatable mattresses or alternative sleeping other than pack n plays or cribs are not allowed. Tents are also not allowed on the property. 5.) Cleaners will come to the cottage after you have departed - they will not visit to clean, change linens, or replace towels during your stay. 6.) Quiet time is 11pm-9am. We do not tolerate loud groups and college like parties anytime of the day or night. 7.) Weddings and formal events are NOT permitted on our properties, if there is found to be a formal event on the property the entire group will be asked to vacate the property with a no refund. It is acceptable to have a visitors during the day hours but that number can not be more than double the maximum occupancy of the cottage. 8.) Fireworks are prohibited on the property at all times.

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location with easy access to events, activities and restaurants. Need we're very comfortable. Hosts were very responsive and helpful.

The house and location was perfect for our Holland getaway! The property is within walking distance to the beach, they have a walking trail right out front of the house. The general store is within walking distance or just a short drive up the street. We loved our visit and had a great time!

Wonderful stay at Lake Effect. Owner was very responsive to any questions. House was very clean... Stocked kitchen with dishes and utensils. Full finished basement with bedroom, laundry and a half bath. Close location to the General Store and 25 minute walk to the beach. Central A/C. Would stay again in 2 years when we come back.

At this home, we were about 2 to 3 miles from Lake Michigan. The home was okay not the best place but okay. When we first arrived, there was a paper towel in the sink that looked like it had been on fire and left there. There were no dish cloths anywhere in the house. We enjoyed the close area to walk to several restaurants and the dunes. The neighborhood was quiet and clean. The host communicated well but the home could have been a bit cleaner.
