About this house rental
Kelvenec, charming family house ideally located 300m from the beach and the center, in the Dumont district.
3-façade house with garden in a peaceful and very popular area.
Unique location, close to everything: the beach, the shopping street, restaurants, the Westhoek nature reserve and the forest for walks or bike rides.
A warm and charming house, freshly renovated.
The house is composed of:
- Three bedrooms. Each room has its own sink.
Sleeps 7:
the ROSE room on the 3rd floor with 1 double bed (2pers),
the BLUE room on the 2nd floor with 2 single beds placed side by side (2pers)
the RED room on the 1st floor with 1 secure bunk bed and 1 pull-out bed (3pers)
- A large living room with TV, with a large sofa that can be used as a bunk, 2 armchairs, a space for a computer, a Bluetooth radio, 2 nesting tables, board games and a few books.
- A small living room with TV adjoining the kitchen and dining room. Living room with television, Bluetooth radio, small table, sofa that can be used as a bunk and a small armchair.
- A kitchen equipped with 4 gas hobs, a combined microwave oven, a dishwasher, a percolator, a senseo machine, an electric kettle, a toaster and a blender. Crockery and children's crockery. Oil, salt and spices available.
- A dining room with a table for 6 people with an extension for 8 to 10 people.
- An adjoining room with a large fridge/freezer, washing machine and iron.
- A shower room with 1 toilet upstairs
- 1 separate toilet on the first floor
- A laundry room with all the cleaning equipment
- a private cellar
- a friendly, sunny fenced garden sheltered from the sea wind, with garden furniture (table and chairs for 8 to 10 people), barbecue and bicycle space out of sight.
You have the choice, fan of the sun or rather the shade: sunny or shaded areas throughout the day.
Very rare to the sea, a large garden sheltered from the wind to enjoy the outdoors, for children to enjoy outdoor games while adults enjoy a good barbecue.
- Private and free parking spaces at the beginning of the garden + outside.

We were guests in Kelvenec for two weeks. Positive first: The house is lovingly furnished, there is nothing missing to spend a longer vacation there and for the most part the house is as stated in the description. The house is located in a very clean and nice looking neighborhood of De Panne. So far so good
However, there were garbage bags in the garden (from previous guests?) which we had to dispose of at our own expense. Unfortunately, we were only informed after arrival that the water tap in the kitchen was not working - we had already found this out. During the entire two weeks there was supposedly no plumber available to repair the tap. Most of the crockery and cutlery was accordingly dirty and had to be cleaned first. We also had to clean the dishwasher and washing machine before they could be used properly. The washbasins and mirrors in the bedrooms were uncleaned, although a cleaner was supposed to come once a week. And one day before departure, we were informed that the cleaner was not available for the final cleaning and that we should vacuum the entire house.
