This wonderful cabin, lovingly renovated in 2020, is perfect for families with children. There’s a swing in the yard, and on top of that, there’s plenty of space to play in the surrounding woods and meadows. The cabin features a traditional wood-burning stove for cooking that also provides cozy warmth. You’ll also find a small kitchen with two hot plates and a sink with hot water. There is plenty of tableware and cookware, and you won’t have to do without a refrigerator or a coffee maker that uses coffee pods.
A wooden staircase leads up to the loft, where you’ll find a cozy sleeping area for up to 4 people. There is a cozy double bed and two single beds that smell wonderfully of Swiss stone pine and ensure a restful night’s sleep. There is another extra bed on the first floor. In May 2020, the entire lower level was retrofitted with underfloor heating. A bathroom with a toilet and shower was added for a bit more comfort, and the terrace was also expanded.
On the terrace, there’s a brick barbecue and plenty of space for comfortable lounge chairs (stored in the small shed)—an ideal spot to gather and relax. To cool off, you can use the solar-powered shower in the garden. There is also a drinking water fountain with fresh spring water, which is perfect for chilling refreshing drinks. On the owners’ property, there’s a shared wellness area with a sauna, infrared cabin, and hot tub, which you’re also welcome to use. Or, after a lovely day in nature, you can relax in your very own private stainless-steel hot tub. If you enjoy wildlife watching, be sure to bring binoculars—the shy forest animals can be easily spotted nearby.
