About this house rental
Spacious peaceful 1,100 sq ft guest house on 110 acres with large private deck provides great views of sunsets, wildlife and amazing stargazing. Take in the natural beauty of the mountains & meadows while enjoying your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. A well-stocked kitchen, open kitchen/dining/living room with 32" flat screen TV, comfortable King bed, walk in closet, office with desk & Queen Murphy bed. Custom shower, toilet and sink, plus additional sink in master bedroom dressing area.
This home is located in a quiet country setting with walking trails through meadows and forest, and ten minute walk to Summit Lake. Close to hiking/biking trails, fishing, sightseeing and shopping. Mesa Verde NP, Hovenweep, Canyon of the Ancients, Anasazi Heritage Center. Also two hour drive to Moab, Utah offering beautiful Arches NP and Canyonlands NP. A 90 minute drive to Telluride and one hour to Durango Mountain.
Area attractions include local brew pubs, stone oven pizza's, restaurants and bakery's do not disappoint. Only ten minutes to Mancos or Dolores and 20 minutes to Cortez. Durango is a beautiful 45 minute drive offering shopping, dining, sightseeing, art galleries, entertainment, river rafting just to mention a few.

What a wonderful visit we had staying at Tom and Nancy's guesthouse. Even though the listing was newer, we were familiar with the hosts, as we have stayed at another of their properties before and know they give a first-class experience. The guesthouse did not disappoint! Super quiet, stunning views, and very private from the main home. The bed was so comfortable, it was hard to crawl out in the morning. Large, well-stocked kitchen with more than what is needed to eat-in. Very, very clean home, with provisions galore. This will be our first pick when we are back in the area. The drive to Mesa Verde is lovely, and it was nice staying on the outskirts of town to enjoy the serenity of the area.
