About this house rental
Under its green roof, this romantic haven of peace invites you to come and withdraw from the world and enjoy its exceptional view of the Pyrenees and the Gers countryside.
Let yourself be attracted by the subtle charms of Gascony.
No great historical or tourist sites but small wonders to discover on foot, by bike or by car. Indeed, in the middle of the Gers hills, far from the hustle and bustle of the big cities, time is slowed down.
But as you descend from our hill, our "Tupé", you will find all the necessary shops in the old town of Lombez with its half-timbered houses around its cathedral and swimming pool. Further on, the fat market of Samatan, the fortified church of Simorre, the abbey of Boulaur and its 21st century Cistercian barn (yes yes!), the medieval village of Sarrant, 40 km the town of Auch with its cathedral, its pousterles and the monumental staircase of d'Artagnan, Toulouse 60 km away and of course 1 hour 30 minutes from the cottage, the Pyrenees and their sumptuous panoramas, the Pic du Midi, the mythical passes of the Tour de France, the Pyrenees National Park.
The Gers is a real postcard in itself.
La Petite Maison offers:
Inside, terracotta tiles and wooden ceilings:
- a spacious bedroom with a double bed, antique wardrobe and desk, shelves, stereo, TV, DVD player, books, CDs.
- a kitchen, extremely bright living room, and all its household equipment, table, chairs, armchair, etc
- a large bathroom with walk-in shower.
Outside, the many terraces (wooden or natural) that surround the house offer you the spoilt for choice, according to the good will of the sun with garden furniture, barbecue.
