We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Purple Parrot Resort. Although the grounds could use maintenance, general cleaning up of shrubs and landscape, the condo we stayed in was VERY clean. We enjoyed having the pool (although shallower than expected) to cool off in the evening. Our kids always found others to play with and had a great time. There is live music nightly in the Tiki Bar, so that was entertaining!Our only drawback on the condo was that the A/C does not fully cool down the top floor. When we arrived, the unit was set on 85 so it didn't cool off by bedtime. I would recommend anyone who likes to sleep cool to take fans! We had two small fans (plus the ceiling fan) on in our room all day trying to keep it cool.We cooked in the kitchen each morning and many evenings. It served all our needs.The location was superb, very easy drive to Pensacola and Orange Beach.

A/C you were either freezing down stairs and Hot upstairs. Would of been nice to have another couch or loveseat in the living room to fully stretch out on. Otherwise unit was nice. Property was great but pool water surface was dirty the entire trip with floating debri

Very impressed with this gem near the Alabama/Florida border. Indoor and Outdoor pool and hot tub options daily, great gym with his/her saunas and a very clean and welcoming property were just some things we were very impressed with. Recommend local beaches including Johnson Beach. We golfed almost daily at local courses, a couple of them within .5 miles! Highly recommended!
