About this house rental
Experience the river life of Camanche with this completely remodeled 100 year old two story home on the Mississippi. Small house that feels large with lots of seating areas to relax and read a book or take a cat nap. This house has panoramic views up and down the river with a completely new kitchen and new bathrooms. Enjoy the sunrise over the river with all new windows across the backside of the house. Bring your boat as the public boat dock is adjacent to the property or just enjoy watching the boat traffic go by and waving to the friendly boaters. The house is in a perfect location on 1st Street near small parks and the public library and dock. There is a large front porch on the street side where you can sit and watch the many walkers and runners using the bike path.
On the river side of the house there is an open back yard with a picnic table and a small fire pit for fires. The house is also within walking distance to a nearby pub with coffee shops and convenience stores seven short blocks away. This is a house for all seasons! Great for families or group gatherings.

We felt welcomed as soon as we stepped inside. The home is clean and inviting. The river view is quite the draw. It was our 2nd time staying at this home and felt very much at home. Out host was responsive to any questions we had and was very kind. A wonderful place to stay and relax.

Property exactly as advertised. All 3 bedrooms had comfortable beds even the bunk beds. Lower bunk was a double bed. The kitchen and bathrooms were all stocked and ready for us. The gas grill, dishwasher, and washer/dryer came in handy. Beautiful view from back of the house and 2 of the bedrooms. This location is perfect for a relaxing vacation. Accomendating owners, we highly recommend this property. A

Couch was so uncomfortable as were the beds. Inside does need some work. Other than that, what we expected.
