Great family fun awaits you at his owner-built, bright, contemporary country chalet, within minutes of four ski areas. Secluded on two wooded acres, this home offers a large, open gathering area, dramatic cathedral ceilings and stone fireplace.
Perfect for relaxing after a great day on the slopes, nestling, playing games, or reading . Sliders open up to a wrap-around deck with gas grill. Kitchen is complete with all cookware and utensils and has an open view of dining/living area/fireplace.
First floor has a mudroom, open-floor plan living room/ dining area/kitchen, and two bedrooms and a full bathroom.
Second floor has a loft room overlooking living room with skylight, bedroom with loft upper-bunk area (kids love it!) and ensuite bathroom.
Basement has ping-pong, foosball, darts, smart TV and exercise area with treadmill .
Stratton Mountain 9 miles away. Also nearby are Mt. Snow, Bromley and and Magic Mountain. Manchester (shopping, dining) is located 25 minutes away. Townshend Dam (great area for tubing, sleighing, snow-shoeing) is 5 minutes away. Country store one mile away. Pikes Falls and Hamilton Falls are minutes away .

This is the perfect place for a family or friends to enjoy a trip to Vermont. The house has the charm that you’re looking for. You can tell years of good memories have been made in the home. And we made our own while visiting. Owners were so helpful and attentive to any questions we had. Close to Stratton for skiing. Perfect setup for a families with kids. The loft room is so fun. I hope we will be staying again next year!

House was perfect, well furnished, clean, and as advertised. Great communication and every detail was spelled out accurately. It was truly a welcoming home to enjoy for our 3 nights. Lots of games, ping pong table, dart board, etc. it is a home, not just a rental property and it really showed.

Stayed here in Feb for a ski weekend with 4 kids and 4 adults. Location is perfect, close to Stratton, secluded but not difficult to access. Hosts are very involved and communication was flawless and timely. They were accommodating and did everything to ensure our stay was hassle free. House has everything you need for a weekend stay. It was like coming to grandma’s place. Kids had a great time with the games in basement and snow in the yard. Gas Fireplace was a bonus, easy to operate. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels.Couple of things that were not ideal but weren’t a deal breaker for us. The shower in bathroom upstairs is Tiny. There is not much soundproofing between floors so you can hear everything in every room. And only room with bathroom en-suite is the one on second floor with five beds and loft, so if you are traveling with family don’t expect much privacy.This wasn’t an issue for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.I am hoping to stay here again when we go to ski in that area.

We were very happy at this home. The hosts were helpful and kind. My kids loved the ping pong table in the basement.
