Château Winery la Batisse le minervois

La estancia fue muy agradable, los anfitriones atentos y amables. La piscina genial. Un pueblo tranquilo para el descanso a media hora de Carcasona y otros sitios turísticos 👍

Siempre pude haber pequeñas cosas, pero nada especial me da gusto. Más bien al contrario.

Our family had a wonderful stay in the apartment ‘Minervois’. The building - a former ‘cave’ - has a beautiful courtyard and the apartment itself is very spacious with high ceilings. The decoration is quirky (which my kids loved!) and it was spotlessly clean. There are two bedrooms with en suite plus a third on the mezzanine. It is extremely well-equipped for cooking and eating during your stay, plus we were provided with lovely fluffy towels. My husband declared the barbecue to be one of the best he had ever used! The shower was also exceptional. The pool downstairs (for use by the building’s residents) is extremely pleasant - and there were rarely more than two or three others there. There is a supermarket just next door and beautiful walks by the Canal du Midi nearby. Overall, it had a calm and restful feel. Our hosts Colette and Marc were very helpful and welcoming.

It is a small issue but we would have liked a larger table at which our family of four could eat on the terrace (though we did enjoy meals at the grand table inside). Also, it was extremely hot during our stay (38-42 C) - the owners provided many powerful fans, which certainly helped, but it was still hard to escape the heat in the evenings. I’d love to visit in the winter when we could use the beautiful fireplace! There is some road noise.

Les hôtes ont été d’une grande gentillesse. L’appartement était très agréable, très spacieux (on est dans un ancien château) et super propre, tout était là pour se sentir chez soi. Petit bémol, pas de climatisation, mais en aérant bien le matin et les ventilateurs, ça fonctionne. Quand à la piscine, elle est propre, très fonctionnelle, on a pied progressivement et on peut même faire ses longueurs. elle a des zones d’ombre. Ça donne envie de revenir.

Marc and Colette were so kind and welcoming. The home was comfortable and well appointed.
