Very cozy, good location near metro and tram

Location. Cheaper than the hotel nearby.

The bed was too soft for me. The windows are old, no real insulation and soundproof.

Ci è piaciuto tutto... Molto pulito caldo e accogliente mi sono sentita a mio agio come a casa. La posizione è ottima e la zona tranquilla... Abbiamo fatto un po' fatica a trovare parcheggio ma è andato tutto bene. Un particolare che ho gradito tantissimo c'era il caffè ( non ho idea di chi ) ma io senza caffè non apro gli occhi 🤣 . Spero con tutto il cuore di poter ritornare lì perché ne avrò sicuramente bisogno. Grazie ❤️

The apartment is really spacious, with 2 large rooms, a generous balcony, kitchen and bath. The bed was comfortable and allowed for a good sleep. The public transport is minutes of walk away. There are multiple shops and food stores at minutes of walk. There is a large fridge, an electric stove and microwave machine, allowing for preparing meals. There is hot water 24/7. The building has an elevator.

The access at arrival was difficult. We reached late in the evening and the digital files sent by the host, meant to explain how to obtain the keys, could not be opened (they were not unlocked for opening). We had to contact the host and with some delay, we obtained the correct files and could enter the flat. The flat's cleanliness was below average, not properly dusted. The balcony and kitchen items were particularly not clean. The flat is large, but furnished with old run-off furniture, definitely requiring a complete replacement. The apartment is not thermally insulated and really cold, difficult to warm up during cold winters with its undersized heaters, wooden windows' and external doors' frames and marble floors. Temperature would reach 17C only in the bedroom, by using the AC. To complicate the situation, central heating would be cut for the entire building, between 10 pm and 6 am, every night. Obviously, this is not controlled by the host, but either not specified when booking and we consider this a misleading practice. The bathroom had a bidet and when using it, the water flooded the bath and we had to spend the evening removing the water. A repair was not possible during our stay, but again shows the poor maintenance of the facility. The kitchen had all electrical equipment but the pans were dirty (with oil leftovers). In the bathroom, we found only half of a toilet paper roll, 1 very little soap, 1 little bottle of shampoo and 1 of conditioner - these meant for 2 persons, for a 6-night stay. We had to buy our own toilet paper and soap. Another issue was the distance from the downtown, complicated by the lack of night public transport in Milan. During day time, travel to center of Milan by public transport takes around 35 to 45 minutes. At night, expect to spend 35-40 euro on taxi or uber to return from downtown Milan. This flat is more suitable for tourists not interested in the night life, going to bed at 10 pm - unfortunately, not our case.
