PRIME LOCATION! This charming log cabin offers a peaceful and tranquil retreat surrounded by trees and a nearby creek. Located near Fish Haven Canyon and just a short drive from beautiful Bear Lake, this home offers the best of both worlds - the convenience of being close to activities and attractions, but also the seclusion and remoteness of a true cabin getaway.
Warmth and nostalgia surround guests from the moment they step inside. This family-cabin-turned-vacation rental is the perfect place to disconnect from the world and reconnect with nature. This cabin offers a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Main Level
Large windows all around, showing off the natural beauty of Fish Haven Canyon. The kitchen is well-stocked and plenty of room for everyone. There is additional seating and picnic tables outside on the deck to dine during the good weather. The living room has comfortable seating and gorgeous rustic decor. Two couches in the main gathering area convert to sofa beds. There is a television to relax and watch movies or the couches make a perfect spot to read a book and enjoy the views. The stunning stone fireplace completes the look of the Bear Lake cabin. There is a laundry room that leads to a half bathroom also.
Upstairs
A staircase wraps around the gorgeous chimney and leads to a tucked-away loft with a full-sized futon (sleeps 2) and a snug twin bunk bed. Though the loft isn't enclosed, it is fairly private. The master suite next to the loft with a queen bed, television, and private balcony for the best morning mountain views. The en-suite bathroom has two separate vanities, a luxurious bathtub and separate shower.
Basement
Cozy doesn't even begin to describe the basement! There is more comfortable seating, pellet stove for the colder months, a television, ping pong table, and a nook under the stairs for children to play, along with toys and books. In the corner, there is a twin bunk bed. There are three bedrooms on this level, each with a queen bed, and one with a crib. A pack and play crib is also available. There is also a 3/4 bathroom. Guests can access the home through the basement as well as the main level.
Outdoors
Step outside to 3 acres of pristine wilderness, where you can play yard games in the circular driveway, explore nature, and create lasting memories. The property, adjacent to BLM land, offers stunning mountain views and a tranquil creek just minutes away. It is located at the end of a lane, away from neighbors and other tourists. It will just be you, your group, and the beauty of the Bear Lake Valley! Go ahead and borrow the kayaks at the home to spend spend some time enjoying the Caribbean of the Rockies!

The cabin is lovely. We loved all of the common areas and the multiple decks. There were a lot of bugs ( understandable) so having screens would be a nice addition. We loved that there were toys for the kids to play with and every amenity in the kitchen. It’s perfect for a family get together!

Our stay in Bear Lake was wonderful and this cabin was perfect for our family's needs. The cabin had a tremendous amount of room and space for all of our family. The house was fully stocked for all of our needs. The views from this property were incredible. The owner Kathryn was great to work with and very responsive. We will definitely stay here again.

This was a great place to stay. We had two issues that would be good to be aware of...google maps takes you one drive past where you need to turn. Be sure to look for the large metal arch on your left just before maps tells you to turn. Also, the online description lists one double bed in the description. We were counting on that for our family, but it doesn't exist. There is a double size futon (very uncomfortable padding for sleeping on, so we didn't use that.) But no double size bed with an actual mattress. Other than that, the location is great and we enjoyed the cabin.

We made the best memories and had the best time at this property. The cabin was clean, comfortable and beautiful. We would recommend the place to anyone! Not to mention how friendly the host was. Thank you!!
