Beautiful historic 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom TRUE lowcountry SOUTHERN CHARMER in the heart of Beaufort, SC. This UPDATED but nostalgic home is located across the street from the waterfront of one of South Carolina's most glorious settings. From the moment you walk in the front door, this home will welcome you into the relaxed and easy lifestyle that defines the lowcountry. The design is reminiscent of the "good ole days", something that keeps visitors coming back year after year. High ceilings throughout the first floor, you will find a plethora of natural light beaming through the windows into the sitting room that leads to an open, updated kitchen offering 42-inch custom cabinetry and stainless steel appliances, slate tile flooring, subway-tiled backsplash, and the "creature comforts" that are the envy of any home chef.
From the kitchen you enter the open dining room. By day, sit in the separate sunroom and fall into your favorite book or take a nap relaxing away the cares of the world. By night, enjoy a nightcap or a great glass of wine as you share stories of your adventures around town. **Fireplace not available for use, for aesthetic purposes ONLY**
Upstairs, you will find three (3) bedrooms and two (2) bathrooms, all lined with hardwood floors. The spacious primary bedroom with king bed overlooks the front of the home and has glimpses of the deep water across the street. A hall bathroom offers a standup designer tiled shower and separate vanity. TV included in this room.
The first guest room offers a queen bed and a small sitting area.
The second guest room offers twin beds.
The spacious second bathroom is shared by both guest bedrooms and offers a tub/shower combo and vanity.
Designer color pallets throughout, this home is adorned with real original southern wood hardwood flooring throughout all spaces with both white and dark wood colors.
The large backyard and side yard areas offer a fabulous place for enjoying both the days and nights entertaining or gathering for dining and drinks. Adirondack chairs line the back patio along with three (3) lounge chairs. A four (4) chair table with umbrella makes the perfect place for breakfast or lunch. We had a fantastic stay at this VRBO! The location was close to shops, restaurants, and the Marine base, making it convenient for everything we needed. The home was thoughtfully designed, spacious, clean, and fully stocked with all the essentials. The beds were comfortable (pillows were next-level!), ensuring a great night’s sleep, and everything felt well cared for and easy to use. Ashley was super responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we would happily return! Thank you!

The house is very convenient to downtown Beaufort and had everything you could possibly need to cook with and spaces to lounge in.
