Beautiful historic 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom TRUE lowcountry SOUTHERN CHARMER in the heart of Beaufort, SC. This UPDATED but nostalgic home is located across the street from the waterfront of one of South Carolina's most glorious settings. From the moment you walk in the front door, this home will welcome you into the relaxed and easy lifestyle that defines the lowcountry. From the kitchen you enter the open dining room. By day, sit in the separate sunroom and fall into your favorite book or take a nap relaxing away the cares of the world. The kitchen was well appointed. The appliances were modern and in perfect working order. It was well decorated and comfortable. The air conditioning worked exceptionally well even upstairs. Considering it was 97 degrees on multiple days. Overall, a great vacation. Nice location. Close to the farmers market. Try the crab cakes.

This is a great property in Beaufort and we enjoyed our time here.This is an older house, which is very charming, but I also feel it could be better with a deep cleaning and a few things touched up/attended to around the house.The communication was slow, but generally responsive. Also the house is on a busy street, which wasn't a problem for us except when exiting the property, it could be challenging at times. Also, when it was really hot the ac struggled in the upstairs, which is where all the bedrooms are. Thankfully, it cooled off enough at night, that the upstairs cooled down too. I'm sure this is the nature of older homes like this, but just something to keep in mind.All of that aside, we did enjoy our time here and liked that the house was removed a bit from the busier downtown area.

The trash was still in down stairs bathroom a sink full of sand,hair a stains on one bed, one bathroom up stairs dirty toilet a floors. Dog hair on rugs. Pee on rug going to laundry. Saturated! Floors in the whole house not mopped had to wear sandles. In door porch cob webs on inside windows. Could not use outside space furniture molded an also a molded shower curtain upstairs. I washed all the throw rugs and shower curtains cleaned the bathrooms . Front porch full of needed cleaned. Sorry this house was not ready.
