Spacious Seaside House

The only thing we liked was that the property was large enough for the 7 of us and the beds were comfortable

Very noisy and busy road had trouble parking our cars. In the evening there was young people hanging around the streets drunk and smoking what smelled like canibas. We had 3 young children with us and it didn't feel safe. My husband and son wouldn't go to sleep as the living room window was broken. The cupboard in the kitchen was full of half used food and a loaf of bread which looked weeks old and mouldy. Walls in the bathroom looked dirty and the skirting around the house was not very clean either. We won't be going again as we just couldn't relax it was a waste money.

It was spacious and the beds were really comfy. It was clean and there was everything needed like a hairdryer, dishwasher, mop etc. it was really welcoming

It did smell a bit odd but we opened all the windows. And it could do with the yard looking after, just sweeping and tree trimming Would make a big difference

We didn't cook breakfast we eat out at a cafe. The house was very near all the amenities we had a great weekend. The house was big plenty of space to relax the bedrooms were great it was clean in every room when we arrived and we left it the same.

We ended up not staying - too disgusting.

Absolutely filthy, hadn’t been cleaned from previous people who had stayed - dirty bedding and towels across the property and it smelt awful. The property itself is nothing like the photos on here and extremely run down too and the sofa was extremely dirty and stained and uncomfortable! Ended up going somewhere else that was cheaper and a lot nicer. We were offered pizzas by the owner to say sorry for the state of the property but ended up getting a refund and finding somewhere clean and suitable.

The house was spacious and clean. We could take the dog with us. It was close enough to town and the beach to walk to both. The beds were so comfy. We had a lovely stay.

Nothing it was all good.

Pros: Host Lena was responsive to questions very quickly when we had a few issues. Beds were comfy enough and the shower had enough hot water etc. Enough crockery and glassware for 6 of us. Very spacious but furniture downstairs wasn't well thought out of shape of rooms. Full size fridge/freezer plus washing machine and dishwasher. Very very cheap and only 5 mins to seafront on foot. Free parking if you can find it (which we did, on the same street as the property) A few people grumbled about the complexity of the key code at the door but we didn't have any problems.

Cons: Just important to bear in mind the cost, you get what you pay for - so our take was; we have paid so little that you can't grumble. But for anybody expecting more than the price suggests: The place is pretty run down and in much need of upgrading / repair. Living room sofa was quite uncomfy and not very clean, and if there are a few of you you're all basically facing the same way. Garden sparse so not really useable i.e. not enough furniture for the capacity of the property. Needed a good clean (for example bath mat when turned over was filthy) and some basic maintenance, several bulbs were out which we replaced with spares after contacting Lena but some light fittings were not not working at all. Whilst Lena was very polite and repsonsive, there was no information before check-in or at the house about parking, what to do with waste, used towels etc, so it would be handy to have either a little information book or some more information upfront.
