I loved the history contained in the floor. The wide planks and the undulations are so very charming. The cute entry stair is fantastic. We stayed on the second floor. The kitchen has a full-size fridge and range and while we didn't have time on this trip to shop for food, I could imagine cooking here. Because of our schedule, we didn't use the TV, but we did enjoy the fast Internet. The hosts were great and very easy to work with. We didn't have any troubles and didn't need to contact them during our stay.

We happened to stay during some warmer weather and would have liked to have had more window AC units. We noticed that the unit on the third floor has three air conditioners. I bet in the winter, the unit would be quite cozy and I can imagine sitting in the chair at the front window in the winter sun watching the world. Alas during our stay, it was too hot for that. A floor fan was available and we put it to good use. In the spring or fall I can imagine sitting out on the deck - on a chair I would have needed to bring out from inside. The unit has three bedrooms and three beds. We didn't need the third bedroom which is good because you get to it by walking through the master bedroom. Just know you'll need to make arrangements for some alone time if you want to use either of those bedrooms for more than sleeping. This is a quirk of the old house so it's not a problem, but it is something to know.

Wir hatten einen insgesamt sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Zur Begrüßung gab es Wasser und ein paar Snacks – eine nette Geste. Die Wohnung ist hell, geräumig und bietet ausreichend Platz für fünf Personen. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und die Umgebung angenehm ruhig. Es gibt kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten auf der Straße, einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen sowie einen Spielplatz in der Nähe. Das Stadtzentrum ist in etwa 15 Minuten erreichbar, Harvard in ca. 25 Minuten mit dem Auto.

Ein paar kleine Hinweise: Die Sauberkeit war nicht ganz optimal – es könnte etwas gründlicher geputzt werden. Außerdem klemmt der Wasserhahn in der Dusche ein wenig.
