    Lovely, perfect location and cosy apartment.

    It was ideal in location for what we needed and the price was decent. But there’s a few things that could be improved
    The location was great. Close to local shops and about 20 mins walk to the city centre
    There was quite a few issues when we arrived. The hearing was broken so we had to go and buy our own heater. The shower was broken but thankfully a lovely neighbours came and did a quick fix to get us through out stay. The cleaning of the place was questionable. A lot of marks on the walls and hair in the drawers in the bathroom.

    A night to forget, and zero customer care and zero follow up
    Location
    We arrived at the apartment and were extremely disappointed with its condition. The property was not cleaned prior to our check-in. The bed linen was dirty, the rubbish bins were full, and dirty towels were left on the floor. This is completely unacceptable. As no clean linen was provided, we were forced to purchase our own bed linen in order to stay in the apartment. And if you see from the picture attached i had 3 young kids that were put to asleep on a chair We attempted to resolve this matter with a team member that we tried to contact at 8pm it was near 11pm before we were contacted amd that was after booking.com reachedout,, we tried ringing a number which is out of service as the properties main contact number we were offered cleaning the following morning,, but we have received no response and no offer of compensation not even the reimbursement of the bed linen which we had to purchase. Due to the lack of action, we have now escalated a formal complaint with Booking.com. Photos have been attached as evidence of the condition upon We are so disappointed as we were so fair with them even though it was so stressful after a long day travel from ireland and to face this, and now just no contact, the level of customer service provided is unsatisfactory After all on the 6th of Dec what we paid for is not what we got

    Unresponsive host, no deposit refund, and poor experience overall
    The property itself was fine, but the poor management and lack of basic communication made it a frustrating and disappointing experience. Update: In response to the owner’s comments, I’d like to clarify a few key points with proof from our Booking.com message history. We paid the £250 deposit on 7 Sept at 12:23 PM, and the host confirmed receipt at 1:31 PM the same day (“Well noted, thank you!”). So the claim that the deposit was not paid on time is incorrect. On 24 Sept, I messaged at 10:03 PM to say we’d be arriving late around 11 PM. When we reached the property at 11:26 PM, I sent two more messages (“Hi! how do I enter?” / “I’m at the gate”) because we had not received any entry instructions until that point. During our stay, on 25 Sept at 8:31 AM, I reported that we were unable to lock the front door from the inside and asked for assistance — but no one ever replied or came to help. After checkout, the host sent a message at 12:03 PM thanking us, saying we were “great guests,” and asking us to leave a positive review — with no mention whatsoever of any damage. To date, we still haven’t received our £250 deposit refund, ven though we left the property clean and undamaged.
    We had multiple issues during our stay. First, we received no gate entry instructions ahead of time and only got them after reaching out ourselves. The contact number provided is useless, no one answers, and it just goes to voicemail. We also had trouble locking the front door, which was a serious concern. We contacted the host about it but never got a response. Thankfully, a kind neighbor who handles the trash in the area helped us one night, otherwise, we would’ve had to sleep with the door unlocked. On top of that, we were asked to transfer a £250 deposit directly to a Monzo account, which felt suspicious. The host assured us we’d get it back, but it's now been over three weeks and we still haven’t received the refund, despite leaving the place clean and undamaged. We've reached out via Booking.com and by phone, but have been completely ignored. The host is unresponsive and unhelpful. We would not stay here again and strongly advise others to avoid this listing.

    Great overall stay
    Great location and amount of space within each room. Loved the separate toilet.
    A few facilities in the home need to be fixed. Toilet door doesn’t align and the shower overhead temperature control doesn’t work.
