Idyllic 1BR APT in Ocean Beach

The layout is very good. It was easy to get in. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of closet space. The shower was good!

Parking is a little difficult but that is a small thing

The hosts are the most responsive managers I have every been with. They responded within 20 minutes every time. They provide images of key places (trash, door, parking spot), security is good, and the location is central to many of San Diego's key features.

I'm torn by this review. I am impressed by the managers in their communication and taking steps to make our stay comfortable. They provided an electric kettle when we mentioned one was not there. So I fully expect the property to improve, but at the moment the apartment is rather poor shape. The carpets are stained, the door latch was not attached to the wall securely, and the apartment was not lit well (and certain lights needed to be plugged and unplugged directly into the wall outlet rather than with a switch). The price of the apartment is lower than other options, but many of these improvements don't cost much.
