I booked a Triple Room 3 months in advance for a 4-night stay, but upon check-in the staff/housekeeping informed me that only a Queen Bed room was available. When I contacted the management, they admitted it was an oversight on their part and said the Triple Room would only be ready the following day.
This meant that three of us had to squeeze into a Queen Bed room for the first night, with no extra bed provided. Initially, when we requested extra pillows and blankets, the hotel staff said they had none available. It was only after I asked a Thai friend who works in the hotel industry to speak with them that the staff finally agreed to look for and provide an extra pillow and blanket.
Overall, this was very disappointing, especially given the early booking and expectation of a proper Triple Room. The situation could have been handled far more professionally.
