This was my first hostel on my trip in Bangkok. I really enjoyed my stay here. The location was really nice, in a quiet local neighbourhood! Also really close to everything. The hostel is clean and they have airco which is very refreshing. The only downsides is that you can not sit straight in your bed. oooh and if you have a top bunk don’t forget to turn of your light before going, its on the other side of the ladder and otherwise you’ll have to keep going up and down haha! so keep this in mind before booking. It’s not a social hostel so they don’t really have any activities but i did meet some nice people when i was there! but overall i had a good stay here! would definitely visit again :)

It’s more of a guesthouse than a hostel, like the name of the establishment suggests, in a Bangkok neighborhood(Old Town).
Few improvements can be made:
1) 2nd floor shower could not maintain hot water after 2-3min. It was fine for me and the 3rd floor showers were fully functional but perhaps they can fix it…?
2) not the fault of the hostel but the building is surrounded by food stalls in narrow alleys. Open the window and pungent aroma galore, namely palm oil grease directly below, fish sauce, etc. Not the deal breaking level but ventilation can be done in an alternative way.

The place feels more like a very well maintained share-house/guesthouse instead of mega hostels filled with kids in gap year hoping for some action at pub crawls and group tour. There are only 2 moderate size dorm rooms and 2 private rooms, a reception area/living space where people just chilax, and a much less utilized rooftop.
They clean multiple times a day and because the space is more intimate, you kind of get to know everyone, and mutual trust and respect.
Definitely for more experienced travelers, mostly solos, but go there as a newbie and you’ll be rolling with big girls and boys, if you wish.

Really peaceful and quiet which is nice because bangkok is so busy.
