Ardos Park Hotel

Probably one of my worse experiences. For a similar price, you can get much better - unfortunately my hotel of choice was fully booked, so I fell for the trap here. When you take a shower, water goes everywhere, even with the glass doors. You always hear water in the bathroom, even in the night. Guests in this hotel are low class, making noise every hour of the day, even at 1am, 3am etc. no respect for other guests. Did not try breakfast because I noticed they keep bread overnight in restaurant area. They barely speak any English. When you ask to clean the room, well... They make your bed and that's it. Bathroom floor is old and dirty. Mattress seemed extremely worn. AC and heating not working, bare in mind it was 2 degrees outside in one of the nights. Will not go back and do not recommend. Only positve is that they helped me get a taxi for the airport, even thought they confirmed it and it was 45 min late, which with traffic almost made me lose my flight. STAY AWAY!

when we arrived the room was so cold i requested to change the room but they didn't accept it. the shower was broken towels was so old and dirty. the room was not that much clean. there Upside down road to city centre. not recommended at al. in their breakfast there only eag and cheese.

I am currently staying at this hotel and will be here for two more days, so this review is based on an ongoing experience, not a one-night stay. Starting with the positive aspects: I had a very late check-in, around 1:00 AM, and that was handled without any issues. The staff allowed a smooth check-in at that hour, which I genuinely appreciate. The breakfast is decent — nothing luxurious or fancy, but not bad either. It’s acceptable and does the job. For the price point of around USD ** per night, the room itself is okay. Nothing exceptional, but fair for what you pay. Now coming to the downsides, which unfortunately overshadow the positives. The bathroom feels very old, clearly outdated, and the bathroom door is stiff and difficult to operate, which already creates discomfort. However, the main and most serious issue was the lack of water. There was no water in the toilet from yesterday evening until around 2:00 AM. This is not a small inconvenience — this is a basic necessity. I later checked online and found that this seems to be a general water issue in this part of Ankara. While that may explain the cause, it does not excuse the lack of preparation or response by the hotel. If water shortages are a known issue in this area and the hotel is still accepting guests, shouldn’t there be a backup solution? Whether it’s stored water, an alternative supply, or at the very least some temporary arrangement for guests — something should be in place. Guests are paying money for a stay that includes basic human needs, not just a bed. What made the situation worse was the response from the reception. When I raised the issue, the staff member did not try to explain properly, reassure, or even apologize meaningfully. He simply said, “It will come.” That was it. What does that mean exactly? Am I supposed to wait indefinitely to use the toilet? Is that what I paid for — to wait until beyond midnight just to flush or wash? There was no effort to console, no attempt to offer an alternative, no empathy shown. That lack of concern is disappointing and unacceptable for a hotel hosting paying guests.
