About this house rental
Host your family of 10 in one of Tybee Island's best beach houses on Tybee's Back River, including a private dock. Enter the home on the second floor and into the bright, sunny living area. With French doors that open to the wrap-around porch, guests will enjoy lounging with a Summer breeze after a long day at the beach.
The kitchen is fully equipped and perfect for entertaining; guests can enjoy a cocktail at the island counter while you prep snacks for the beach. Everything you need to prepare a full meal includes an electric range and stove, a full fridge, a microwave, a dishwasher, and ample storage space. A half bath is just beneath the stairs.
Upstairs, you'll find three bedrooms and an additional semi-private lofted bedroom. The first bedroom has a King-size bed with an en suite bath, a tub, and a separate shower. The second and third bedrooms (first with King, second with Full, and Twin Bunk with Twin Trundle) share a jack and jill bath with a double vanity and standing shower. On the third level, an open loft space offers a Queen bed with a Twin trundle. The loft has a private balcony overlooking Tybee Creek.
A full bath (with a separate shower) and an outdoor kitchenette are available on the ground floor. Guests are welcome to use any water sports equipment in the garage. While situated on Tybee Creek, guests are only a short ride away from local beach access.

Our family of 7 came for a week after baseball in Atlanta. Tybee is so great! Cute town. We loved the house...interesting history, beautiful decor, lots of space. Our boys fished daily and had great success! They caught flounder daily and I cooked it up! The girls took the golf cart we rented to the beach and got coffee (Sand Cat and Tybean) It was the best stay!!!!

wonderful old house. beautiful interior and nicely decorated. enjoyed the dock and was able to bring my boat up. the downstairs flooded as you know and probably could have been avoided had the drains at the corners of the house been at surface level. the sago palms are getting a bit out of hand for the driveway access, but overall, a delightful experience.

We had the best time during our stay! The house was so charming! We loved the back dock area where the dolphins came by daily. It was one of the highlights of our trip. The communication with the managers of this house was wonderful. The location was excellent close to restaurants and the beach. We loved the laid back vibe. We will be back next year.

MY COMPLAINT IS MAINLY WITH LUCKY SAVANNAH RENTAL. FAILURE TO RETURN BOTH MY EMAILS AND CALLS LEFT US CONFUSED. AFTER ARRIVING, AND TAKING OUT THE FIRST COUPLE OF BAGS OF GARBAGE THE NEXT DAY WE REALIZED THE GARBAGE RECEPTACLE IN THE FRONT CORNER WAS NOT OURS, IT WAS IN FACT OUR NEIGHBORS. MY WIFE CALLED THE RENTAL COMPANY, THEY SAID THEY WOULD GET RIGHT BACK TO US WITH A SOLUTION. I CALLED THEM BACK, WOMAN SEEMED CONFUSED ON WHAT TO DO, NEVER GOT BACK. 3 DAYS LATER ,TIME TO LEAVE, HAD PUT 9 GARBAGE BAGS IN GARAGE, CALLED RENTAL CO AGAIN. TOLD THEM A COUPLE OF CRITTERS HAD GOTTEN INTO THE BAGS AND MADE A MESS- HAD TO CLEAN THAT UP AND REBAG EVERYTHING, SOMETHING I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH DURING CHECKOUT MORNING.WILL NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN. HOUSE IS OLD BUT BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED. VIEW FROM DOCK IS WONDERFUL, LOCATION IS GOOD. FOOD FROM AJ DOCKSIDE IS EXCELLENT, WOULD I COME BACK, PROBABLY NOT.
