About this house rental
Bear's Den of Cody is situated in one of the best locations across from Buffalo Bill Reservoir. This home has plenty of windows to take in the views of the mountains and lake all while enjoying this retreat just a short drive from historic Cody, Wyoming. Bear's Den has western décor throughout the home as well as all the amenities to make this a perfect get-away for your family or group. Winter & Spring Travel Notice: Cody offers plenty to enjoy year-round! Please note that Yellowstone's East Entrance and most park roads are closed to regular vehicle traffic from November 1, 2025 through May 1, 2026. During winter (December 15–mid-March, weather permitting), access is available only by guided snowcoach or snowmobile tours.
Walking in, you are greeted by an open living room with vaulted ceilings and large stonework fireplace*. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need to make preparing meals simple and enjoyable. The kitchen has double wall ovens, two countertop ranges, a breakfast bar and larger island counter seating. The bright, light filled space opens to the dining room. The dining room is a great spot to gather for breakfast or catch up after a day of adventures. Each of the 3 bedrooms in the home is equipped with a coffee bar and en suite bathroom to get your morning off to a great start. The main bedroom on the main floor features a king bed, electric fireplace, coffee bar and television. The main en suite bathroom has a jetted soaking tub, heated towel warmers, double vanity and additional step in shower. Upstairs you will find 2 additional bedrooms and bathrooms. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed with a lodgepole frame and coffee bar. The en suite bathroom has a tub shower combo. Bedroom 3 has 3 queen beds and a coffee bar. The en suite bathroom has a tub shower combo as well.
Outside, you will find a large deck with outdoor seating to take in the incredible views and catch a Wyoming sunrise or sunset that will stay in your travel memories for years to come! Grill and enjoy dining al fresco as you take in the fresh mountain air.

Incredible home with breathtaking views. A very short drive into Cody and less than an hour drive into Yellowstone. A luxury home at its best. A must stay if in the area.

This property had everything we needed and more. We loved the views, the location and the extras they provided to make us feel special.We highly recommend this for a large family stay.

What a wonderful house and location. Located in a quiet neighborhood with spectacular views!!! Our group of 6 had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy and larger groups would still have room and plenty of seating. The en-suite baths for each room made getting ready in the morning a breeze. Thoughtful touches throughout from the hosts from extra pillows and blankets in each room to welcome gifts and recommendations. The house is well equipped with everything you need and you should check the pantry before shopping as many staples are available. The house is beautifully decorated and furniture is extremely comfortable, we all spent hours reading and looking over the reservoir or enjoying breakfast on the deck. Ideal location to explore Yellowstone, the town of Cody and the Buffalo Bill Museum. Make sure you stop by and have a meal at Trailhead and check out Timmer Art Gallery in downtown Cody. You won’t regret booking this fabulous location we will stay again if we come back to Cody.
