A ground floor apartment in a beautiful country house with direct access to a private outdoor area with wonderful views of Lake Trasimeno on the border between Umbria and Tuscany. Tennis court/soccer, petanque.
Madone O is ground apartment in a beautiful stone house located on the border between Umbria and Tuscany, just 6 km from one of Italy's largest lake, Trasimeno lake that can be seen from the house. The apartment has a private outdoor area where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful view of the billowing landscape.
The property has been newly restored and divided into a total of 9 apartments. In one of the buildings there are four apartments and the other five are divided in two separate buildings. Madone O is one of them.
It is a very child friendly place with large grass areas, a small playground and a table tennis. Also, the 6x12 mt large common pool is completely fenced. It has a depth of 1.20 to 1.50 mt. Children in or around the pool must be under adult supervision at all times. There is also access to a large common room for meals, a fitness room and laundry room with three washers.
The apartment Madone O has entrance from the garden from a private furnished terrace/veranda and consists of:
Living room with satellite television and sofa bed. Kitchen corner (dishwasher, stove, fridge with freezer, microwave oven, toaster). A double bedroom, a single bedroom, bathroom with shower (wheelchair friendly). The décor is simple but functional with beamed ceilings and stone floor to give the right atmosphere. In addition to the private veranda, there are several small furnished areas in the garden and a common barbecue. Vegetable garden available to guests.
The central position of the house makes it easy to make trips around the region that has very much to offer. Visit the "capital" Perugia, the city of Assisi, where the saint San Francis was born , the medieval village of Gubbio, Spoleto, Todi or Citta 'di Castello. Trasimeno lake is of course also worth a visit for a swim or to try a new water sport. One can also take the ferry to the island Isola Maggiore.
