The Kranichloft vacation rental is located on the upper floor of the Am Brook guesthouse.
The 70-square-meter, non-smoking duplex apartment is furnished in a modern, bright Scandinavian style and can accommodate up to 4 adults and 1 toddler up to 3 years old in a travel crib. Photographs of the island welcome you as soon as you enter. A small hallway with a coat rack leads directly into the spacious living and dining area with a built-in kitchen. The floor-to-ceiling windows, equipped with fall protection and insect screens, provide plenty of natural light. The living area is cozily designed and invites you to relax. It features a comfortable corner couch with an adjustable footrest, a coffee table, an armchair, and a floor lamp. Here you can make yourself comfortable, enjoy a movie on the 32-inch smart TV, or listen to music from the Bluetooth radio. Wi-Fi access rounds out the technology setup. The sideboard offers plenty of storage space for your personal belongings. It also contains a collection of games for the whole family as well as a small selection of books. The built-in kitchen includes everything you need to prepare your meals, such as an induction stove, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a microwave, and a dishwasher. In addition, you’ll find a filter coffee maker, a Nespresso capsule machine, a kettle, a toaster, a knife block, and plenty of cooking utensils. A dining table completes the kitchen area. From here, a staircase leads up to the upper sleeping area. Here you’ll find two single beds (each 0.90 m x 2.00 m), which can also be pushed together to form a double bed, adjustable slatted frames, two nightstands with reading lamps, a wardrobe, and a blackout blind. The room also has enough space to set up a travel crib. The staircase is secured with a stair gate. The lower bedroom features a comfortable double bed (1.60 m x 2.00 m) with a wall-mounted bedside lamp, adjustable slatted frames, and a spacious wardrobe. The floor-to-ceiling windows are equipped with blackout curtains and insect screens to ensure a restful night’s sleep. The compact, naturally lit bathroom is functionally designed and features a corner shower, a hair dryer, a toilet, a sink area, and an insect screen. A shelf provides space for toiletries, and a lighted mirror ensures proper lighting. You’ll also find a clothes drying rack, cleaning supplies, and a standing fan in your apartment. If you feel like getting outside, there’s a 2,500-square-meter communal garden where you can relax. There you’ll find beach chairs, seating areas, and a barbecue area that you can share with other guests. Up to 2 pets are welcome for a fee. You can park your own or rented bicycles on the property. A parking space is located right next to the house. You can book an initial linen package (complete set of bed linens, 1 shower towel, 2 small hand towels) for an additional fee up to 14 days before arrival, or supplement it with your own linens.
