The Space:
Welcome to Fripp Island and this Newly Updated Sunsuite! You will not only be a few steps from the beautiful pools, new fitness center, tennis & pickleball courts, Island Bites, and adult pool, but our incredible beach is only steps away! This unit is located right in the center of Fripp! This Sunsuite has a kitchenette, a small refrigerator with a freezer, a small stove, a queen-sized bed with new bedding, and a 55" TV. All new kitchen supplies, including a crockpot and a Keurig. There are laundry facilities on the 2nd floor of this complex.

Also included in your rental are up to 4 guest cards! These cards are required for access to all resort amenities, including restaurants and bars, pools (open year-round), golf, pickleball, tennis, fitness center, and more. For current hours of operation, please visit our Hours of Operation page on the Resort site, as some hours adjust seasonally. Guest cards offer exclusive access to discounted rates on golf and tennis.
Your unit is stocked with a starter set of essentials like toilet paper and paper towels. Springtide Market & Deli (located at the front of the island near the guard gate) stocks all essentials needed for a longer stay as well as groceries, grab-and-go, liquor, beach accessories, and much more!
Your 4-legged companions are more than welcome to join in the island adventures, as this home extends a warm invitation to dogs (with an additional pet fee), ensuring that every member of your family can create cherished memories on Fripp Island.

Located 20 miles from Beaufort, South Carolina, Fripp Island is a gated, private island, comprised of about six and a half square miles. The views from Fripp Island are unlike others in the Sea Islands, as Fripp is the most seaward of them all.

Property was very convenient to all Fripp amenities and two of three pools. Convenient walk to beach. We enjoyed the various pool options. Overall, we had an enjoyable experience despite the feedback that follows in this review. Exterior of property somewhat dated but some units are undergoing renovation and painting. Outdoor porch area had accumulated leaves and some trash from construction but never cleaned during stay. Room where ice machine located littered with live and dead Palmetto bugs and contained a large visible rat trap on the floor. Interior of property was somewhat small but clean and updated and about the right amount of space for 2 people. The small kitchenette had ample cooking utensils etc. but no dishwasher. There was no disinfectant or rags provided to clean counters and dining space.We did not have hot water for approximately 24 hours of our stay and communication about the resolution was minimal. Parking area was small with no convenient golf cart parking provided. The Beach Club restaurant was closed due to a fire which left minimal dining options on the island. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and service at OP’s for breakfast but dinner options were very limited. The environment and view at the boathouse was phenomenal but the food was average. Lunch OPTIONS AND SERVICE at the Cabana were phenomenal!! Service at the Sandbar was average with many of the employees used to manage gate access that could be done with a passkey.

We never got to enjoy all the amenities as it rained everyday we were there. The restaurant next door was closed for renovations which was too bad as it looked really nice! However, our room was very nice. It was clean and comfortable quite well stocked. We would suggest having paper towels and maybe salt and pepper if possible.

This pet friendly end unit is ideal because it is so easy to take the dog outside! It has been updated and had everything we needed. There isn't an assigned parking spot so you have to find a spot in the front lot but we did pull up to the unit to unload and load so it wasn't really an issue.

This was a super getaway. From the friendly gate greeting, the comfortable, attractive room, the quick walk to the beach and everything for a wonderful 2 night stay! We hope to visit again!
