**IMPORTANT PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING. Daufuskie Island is a BRIDGE-LESS barrier island situated between Hilton Head SC and Savannah GA. You can only access this rental by water taxi. Upon arriving to Daufuskie, you will need land transportation to your rental. During your stay your means of transportation will be a golf cart. Explore Daufuskie is partnered with excellent boat captains with options from Savannah and Hilton Head. We can coordinate any or all of these reservations for you. Our family and my sister’s do an annual trip to Daufuskie. We had stayed in other places in the past but once we found this one we’ve chosen it every year. It’s clean, comfortable & has a well stocked kitchen. The views are gorgeous! We see dolphins from the balcony every morning. The kids love swimming in the ocean and the pool. Daufuskie is a special place and staying here makes it that much more enjoyable. Thanks for another great trip!

The property was the perfect place to stay on the island because it's about the furthest you can get from the Freeport Marina. The power had gone out the night before our check-in so that delayed the cleaning and our check-in a bit but it really was no fault of their own and we we're pretty easy-going about things. The place was clean and perfect for the 7 of us with direct walkable access to the beach and a good-sized pool for all guests. Caroline, our host, was very accommodating and was sure to respond quickly when we had questions or needed assistance. We would stay at this place again if we return to Daufuskie.
