Welcome to our spacious home in the historic Tizol Building located right in the heart of Old San Juan!
Formerly home to Manuel Tizol Marquez, a luminary of the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra, this residence echoes with musical history. Our eight-bedroom retreat offers around 5,500 square feet of space, blending rich heritage with modern comfort. Enjoy a peaceful city oasis with a serene patio and beautifully designed areas—perfect for large
groups looking for an unforgettable stay.
Each of the eight bedrooms is equipped with air conditioning for your comfort, while the common areas reflect the charm of the original historic design and do not include AC.
The expansive layout offers generous space for group gatherings and shared experiences, while the fully equipped kitchen is ideal for preparing delicious meals. Step outside to explore the captivating surroundings, featuring historic landmarks, charming local shops, and
exceptional dining experiences.
While Puerto Rico may occasionally experience brief water or power interruptions, our solar power system and water cistern help maintain comfort during those moments. The area’s lively ambiance can include some street noise, and seasonal tropical insects are part of the island environment—using earplugs and keeping lights off at night can help ensure a more restful stay.
*Please note that the plumbing system is delicate. To help maintain its proper function, we kindly ask that guests avoid disposing of any items down the drains and refrain from using excessive amounts of paper at once.

The property is located in a residential neighborhood. Please observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM and be respectful of our neighbors.
🚭 Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. A $500 penalty fee will apply for any smoking-related violations.

When leaving the property to explore the area, please turn off all lights and set the A/C to a higher temperature or turn it off when possible. This helps conserve energy and supports our sustainability efforts.

The host was very welcoming and was quick to respond whenever I reached out. We loved the location, right in the heart of Old San Juan. So easy to get everywhere. We loved that most bedrooms had their own bathroom and shower and that there was plenty of bedrooms. It took us quite a few days to figure out where the light switches were located for the dining room and living room were. They were located close to the floor and one was behind the cabinet, but overall that wasn't a big deal. A book with how to work everything would be great to have for guests( how to work various other lights, the bluetooth, etc). If I could give 4 1/2 stars I would. Overall we loved this place, so charming and unique!

Very impressed with the service at this property! We had a couple of non-flushing toilets but otherwise a wonderful experience all around. Marcos, the property manager, was fantastic and gave us all kinds of great suggestions on places to go, restaurants, etc. Highly recommend!

The property was a splurge but we wanted to be in the heart of Old San Juan. It was old and beautifully restored, central and really comfortable for coming and going and for relaxing on site in a group or in twos or threes. Communication was good when finally established but the many platforms for communication were confusing to the elders so it was bumpy at first. Lovely property!!

This place was truly great. Amazing location in the center of Old San Juan. Easily walkable to all kinds of things... the fort, restaurants, bars, pharmacies, and more. The place itself was really great. Brand new modern appliances and icy cold AC in the bedrooms. All the beds were very comfortable. I highly recommend this place!
