Guests love the relaxed waterfront setting of this unique pink, octagon-shaped home located directly on a freshwater canal. The atmosphere is calm and easygoing, yet there is always something to do nearby. With water access right outside, walkable local dining and entertainment, and popular Nature Coast attractions close by, it’s easy to enjoy both downtime and adventure during your stay.
The home is multi-level and connected by a spiral staircase, with the primary bedroom located on the third floor, separated from the main living spaces for added privacy. From this elevated level, guests enjoy open views toward the water and beautiful sunrise and sunset moments that many describe as a highlight of their stay. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet and residential, with sidewalks throughout that are well suited for walking or biking.
Inside, the home is arranged to comfortably accommodate a variety of travelers, including couples, families, and small groups. Sleeping arrangements include a queen bed in the third-floor master bedroom, a full bed in the second bedroom, and a queen pull-out sofa with a memory-foam mattress. A blow-up mattress and a playpen are also available. USB charging outlets are conveniently located in the kitchen, living room, and both bedrooms.
The main level includes a kitchen and living area designed for everyday use, shared meals, and relaxation. A screened-in porch provides a comfortable outdoor space to enjoy fresh air, morning coffee, or evenings without direct sun or bugs. Additional seating is available beside the canal, allowing guests to spend time outdoors throughout the day.
The property includes a private dock with a ladder for water access and steps for launching kayaks or the paddleboard, which are provided on site for guest use. A boat lift is available for qualifying boats under 25 feet or up to a 3-ton pontoon deck boat, jet ski, or bay boat. Retractable bimini tops are compatible; hard tops will not clear the nearby bridge. Boat rentals, fishing charters, and a bait shop are located nearby.

My wife and I had a great time at this property, we will be back again soon. Check in was automated and easy and the host was very responsive to our questions. The house had plenty of mini split AC units for zone climate control, new appliances, and clean linens. The dock and entertainment areas are tidy and well lit. Fishing was good off the dock, caught two keeper mangrove snapper casting cut shrimp across the canal. The local cracker barrel was a great spot for brunch and provided great food and service. Thanks again for having us!

This beach house was like home away from home accept at the beach. This house is beautifully decorated, spacious, and clean. The outdoor sitting areas and overall yard and property also exceeded our expectations. The fenced in yard was perfect for our fur baby. The neighborhood is beautiful to walk around and best of all, it’s very quiet. We definitely recommend this lovely property. The host for this beach house was very prompt on communication. We will be back!

We visited to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and had the best time. It is cute, comfy, clean, spacious, and stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed mornings by the dock, afternoons kayaking the canals, and evenings on the porches. Barbie’s Dream House is even better in person. We cannot say enough good things about the house and property. Jennifer was super quick with any questions we had. The location is perfect! So many restaurant choices within a quick drive or even walk. Other local attractions and cute beach towns are an easy drive away. We flew into Tampa and within 45 mins we were at the Barbie Dream House. We can’t wait to come again, maybe with our 8 year old next time.
