This lakefront home is a great escape for those looking to find peace and relaxation. Here, guests can indulge in activities such as golfing, kayaking, swimming, fishing, horseback riding and gathering around the firepit with their loved ones. You can also enjoy access to the community pool, beaches, and more!
The space
The welcoming entrance leads to a warm and inviting open living area with lots of natural light, high vaulted ceilings and a gas fireplace, ideal for unwinding during the cooler months.
The home comfortably sleeps 10, with 5 bedrooms and 3 and half bath. This three-story home is ideal for large gatherings, offering ample space and comfort. Enjoy complimentary coffee and tea in our beautiful kitchen, well-equipped with appliances, granite countertops and ample spacious cabinetry. The dining area can comfortably accommodate a large group, rendering it a suitable venue for family dinner gatherings or entertainment. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is readily available throughout the house. There are smart TVs on all three levels for a peaceful escape.
The main level features 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.
Bedroom 1 (primary) offers a king size bed, smart TV, full bath and an enclosed deck overlooking the back of the house.

Upstairs is a work-from-home setup with desk and chair. Additionally, there is a quiet reading nook with a comfortable chair and lamp as well as 1 bedroom and a half bath.

The basement offers entertainment with a billiard table, chess and checkers on our beautiful game table and movies. The basement offers a queen-size pull-out sofa bed, smart TV and a full bath.
The beautiful outside deck offers several comfortable sitting areas and a barbecue for entertaining and preparing delicious meals. For those chilly nights, enjoy the firepit by the lake with Adirondack chairs for your comfort.

The entire property is accessible to guests, including the water toys, fire pit, and Adirondack chairs. There are nine beaches for deeper water swimming, and the pool is also accessible to guests. However, there will be a small guest fee required after the first two guests (two guests are free). Additionally, the community boasts a PGA golf course and equestrian center, as well as parks, playgrounds, and walking trails (accessible to guest for a fee/advanced booking.

It is necessary to arrive at the front gate, where the guard shack is located. There is a back gate; however, it is not accessible. The drive to the front from the back gate takes approximately 30 minutes; therefore, it is advisable to avoid this route.

The lake water is regularly tested and maintained to ensure a safe and secure experience.
Our community is a gated and tranquil setting, ideal for families. We kindly request that you exercise respect towards our neighbors. Due to the high number of people walking in the neighborhood, the authorities are quite strict regarding speeding in the community and may issue a ticket. Therefore, it is imperative to exercise caution when driving. The speed limit on the main road is 25 mph and on the side roads, it is 15 mph.

We have 2 families, with 4 in each family. Great house to stay at. In under 2 hours, you can visit so many amazing places.House kept our adult kids occupied on the rainy days. They loved the basement game area, and hung out there every day. We also had a chance to use the kayaks, how fun.Would absolutely reserve this house again if in that area in the future. Thank you.

Each May, my gal cousins meet for a long weekend together to catch up on our lives and our families and enjoy activities together in an area that's reasonably commutable and offers activities of interest. This is our first stay in this area and in Hummingbird Lakehouse. The property is just as advertised and very comfortable and well stocked. The kitchen is wonderful with more than sufficient cookware and service ware for our group of six. We spent a lot of time over snacks & meals around the big square dining table. The sleeping arrangements were such that except for one case, each had her own sleeping quarters. Two of us shared the large master bedroom and all were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the deck and the small screened in porch. The water level was a little low for us to consider the kayaks as we're all of retirement age. We enjoyed walks in Lake of the Woods, an afternoon at Woodbrook Farm Vineyard, Sunday brunch at the Clubhouse, a trip to in downtown Fredericksburg, and a spring craft show in the community. The host is a very good communicator and made sure we had what we needed. I would certainly be happy to stay here again on a future Cousins' Weekend. Kudos to the host.
