Beautiful peaceful home on Lake Anna. Home includes a hot tub and pool table!

Great place to stay, particularly for a multigenerational family. Well equipped kitchen. Really nice quiet neighborhood.

The house was in a beautiful, private setting. It was spacious and bigger than I expected. Close to lake but the private access beach was very small. Certainly is walkable if you are with family members that can walk a good stretch otherwise you can reach via car. Lake Anna state park was a few minutes away and the beach was very nice and clean. The hot tub was a nice amenity. Beds were comfy. We took a ride up to the Shenandoah Resort and had breakfast… beautiful scenic views and food was great. The host was quick to respond. Dogs had a great time running in the large backyard. I was a little disappointed I couldn’t find a beach to allow my dog to run. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our week retreat away from work!

Home away from home!

It was a beautiful home but there were a lot of things that weren’t good. First there were stains on the sheets. No washcloths and only a few towels. The book said there were extra things eels I. The pantry but the door was locked so we couldn’t get any. There was dirty dishes in dishwasher and leftover food and opened containers in the refrigerator and there is food stuck to bottom of freezer drawer. There were multiple dead bugs in master bedroom. There was no tv in one of the downstairs rooms and the other room had a fan but there was no remote so there was no way to turn it on. There was also supposed to be a starter supply of soap but there was none. Because of the half eaten food and dirty dishes we didn’t even cook here but rather ate out. We did start the dishwasher so the next people could have clean dishes. It was a beautiful home but we’re only here for two days and we were here for a funeral which was stressful already and coming to a dirty rental that we paid for service fees and cleaning fees for was even more stressful. I have pictures of everything.
