Sitting on just under an acre at 10,250ft high in the Rocky Mountains this 4 bedroom mountain home includes 1 king, 2 queens, and 3 bunk beds with 1 full and one twin each. Easy access to skiing, hiking, biking and the Denver city life! Just steps from the Saint Mary's Glacier trail head as well as 4 wheel drive roads, alpine lakes and hiking.

The Moose Chalet has a large open driveway/parking lot for easy storage of your cars as well as ATVs, Razors and toy haulers! (Sorry, no camping)
We also have a minimal short driveway to access the parking so less likely to get stuck in the winter months (Some of the other driveways on the mountain can't even be used because of the steepness mixed with snow and ice!). The Moose chalet also has ground floor access so you can easily enter and exit without long sets of stairs or walkways.

Idaho Springs is a quick 20 minute drive down the hill where you can experience a true Colorado mining town. Spend the day playing tourist at the Argo Gold Mine or soak in the natural hot springs at the Indian Springs Resort. Or maybe take a drive up Mount Blue Sky (Formerly Mount Evan's), the highest paved road in North America, rising to 14,200 feet above sea level.
