In the colder months, Indianhead Mountain - Big Snow Resort (37 miles) offers top-tier skiing and snowboarding.
Step into this peaceful retreat and be greeted by sunlit, open-concept living areas adorned with expansive windows, high wooden ceilings, and elegant woodsy decor. Snuggle up on the plush sectional to stream your favorite movies or sip some local brews on the patio, basking in the sweeping lake views. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Nice house that was able to accommodate 12 adults & 4 kids. Enough beds for everyone. The view of lake is beautiful and having a dock for our rental pontoon boat was a plus. Now here’s the big negative- VRBO advertising it as Air-conditioned. Well in a house that size it has 1 AC portable unit in the upstairs bedroom. The rest of the house was hot (at times hit 80 degrees inside) and there was only a couple fans available. After calling VRBO to come out and check out the house, it was determined the house doesn’t have central air and the homeowner refused to buy additional AC portable units. They did purchase additional fans which helped a bit. Opened all windows at night but quickly had to shut them due to the house filling up with mosquitoes & other bugs. Apparently the screens have holes in them. For the price they charge, I expected better!
