Loved the location of the house. The setting was perfectly private! 3 kayaks were wonderful, usually only 2. The house was our favorite living room setup! We found it very comfy and a place for all 5 of us to relax. Air conditioning works great! Typically most rentals will have some left over amenities from previous visitors; tin foil, spices, garbage bags…this did not.
We were hoping to catch some fish, but this lake is so crystal clear we didn’t have luck. We did love swimming in the lake!!!!

The first floor is nice and spacious. The upstairs is cramped - for sleeping only. The owner locked the thermostat which prevented me from turning on the air conditioning - it took many hours to resolve. Vacasa was helpful and prompt. There was a pathetic lack of glassware. The pier was not stable. There was only seating for six on backless stools around the kitchen table. Basic supplies like coffee filters and garbage bags was limited. I expected more for the cost.On the positive side, the deck was nice as was the looped driveway and ground access to the basement making fishing gear storage convenient. The location and lake was marvelous.
