Nestled along the breathtaking southern shoreline of Lake Michigan in the charming town of Sawyer, "Stay Gold" is a meticulously designed custom 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom residence crafted for beauty, comfort, and play. Our unique home offers one of a kind amenities such as a hot tub, a private pool, a retro juke box, and a wood burning pizza oven.

Upon entering this unique home, guests are greeted by panoramic windows that showcase sweeping views of the wooded property. The 10-foot-tall ceilings coupled with radiant stone-tiled floors create an ambiance of beauty and warm comfort throughout the home.

The expansive living and dining areas include a bluestone fireplace and an exquisite blend of wood accents. Our home features a working retro juke box to add a soundtrack to your stay, from Neil Diamond to Crosby Stills and Nash. The gourmet chef's kitchen is a culinary enthusiast's dream, featuring high-end appliances, custom walnut cabinetry, and a striking island crafted from walnut and cherry wood.

Each bathroom is a sanctuary in itself, with custom-tiled rain showers and inviting jacuzzi tubs, creating a spa-like retreat within the comfort of your own home.

Accommodating up to 10 guests comfortably, "Stay Gold" offers a thoughtfully planned layout for both privacy and leisure. The opulent master bedroom and ensuite bathroom grace the first level, while the second floor hosts a stylish family room, two sleeper sofas for two, and two generously sized bedrooms - one furnished with a queen bed and the other with three twin beds, including a trundle, perfect for accommodating four guests in total. We offer a selection of functional guitars on the second floor, which we encourage you to play (good or bad, we don't mind).

Stepping into the serene screened porch, guests are treated to the perfect setting for relaxing at sunrise or sunset. What sets this space apart is its custom wood-fired pizza oven, ideal for transforming dinner into a memorable culinary experience.

Guests can enjoy outdoor seating by the pool and patio, making it a delightful spot for drying off after a swim or enjoying the serene ambiance at any time of day. The hot tub is ideal for relaxing and star-gazing after a long day at the beach or on cool fall or winter nights.

Set amidst lush and expansive wooded surroundings spanning nearly half an acre, "Stay Gold" offers a quiet retreat just 5 minutes away from Cherry Beach. Its proximity to acclaimed restaurants, wineries, breweries, charming boutiques, and antique shops ensures a rich tapestry of experiences for guests to explore and enjoy. Moreover, its location just 70 miles from downtown Chicago makes it an accessible escape from the bustling city life.

Please note, during peak season (June 7 - August 23, 2024), a 7-day minimum stay is required, with check-ins and check-outs scheduled exclusively on Fridays. Additionally, the minimum age requirement for renting this home is 25.

For guests traveling with pets, "Stay Gold" accommodates up to two dogs (dogs are family too) with prior authorization required at the time of booking.

While MI has always been our "happy place", it is our neighbor's happy place too--many of them are full time residents. We ask that you follow the rules for their enjoyment of home and life. Unfortunately, if any rules are broken, you will be subject to a $300 fine immediate termination of the contract, and asked to leave. Any complaints to our property will put us in losing our rental agreement. We truly appreciate your cooperatation in this matter.
