About this house rental
OK Beach Stays is a cosy beach house for all seasons - a place to play, relax & recharge.
This property sleeps 6 comfortably - for family with kids or couples that love the beach, nature and getting away from it all.
The house comprises;
Open plan living – comfortable lounge with 65” Smart TV, Blue ray player and DVD’s.
The kitchen is well stocked with all the equipment you need, including Dishwasher, Microwave, Aldi coffee machine, sharp knives, stainless-steel pots and pans, rice cooker, slow cooker, sandwich toaster.
Split System (Cooling/Heating)
Coonara wood heater and outdoor fire pit (Wood available at the General Store).
Free Wi-Fi
Bed 1 - Queen bed, built in robes and TV
Bed 2 - Queen bed, built in robes and TV
Bed 3 - Bunk bed, built in robes and TV
Please note: Blankets, Pillows and Doonas are supplied at the property. You will need to bring your own linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels and bathmat).
Balcony with comfortable lounge and table area with BBQ and rinse off shower.
Beach No. 3 is 10-minute walk and the Venus Bay shops are 10-minute walk or 2-minute drive from the accommodation and include a General store/mini supermarket, Pharmacy, Pizza/pasta shop, Fish n chips, Gelato shop, Gift shop, Cafe and Restaurant/bar that has live music most Friday evenings. Tarwin Lower has a well-equipped IGA Supermarket and Cafe, Riverview Pub, Art Gallery, Mitre 10 and Petrol Station is a 5-minute drive.

This house was great for us with 2 small children and 3 adults, with lots of beds and a great functional kitchen for cooking. We had no drama, other than an unfortunate case of the garden hose connector giving up the ghost overnight which drained the water tank during our last night at the house. This meant we had no water for breakfast, toileting etc, and emptied the local general store of 1.5L water bottles first thing in the morning. This did put a spanner in the works for us with small kids but we were able to get breakfast on the table and just leave a bit earlier than planned. I would guess this is not an event that would have an effect on anyone else after us, as it was just a random unfortunate event.

Had a great stay in Venus Bay with the family. The house was beautiful to stay in and extremely clean, and so central to some great beaches and nature to explore. The house was in a nice, quiet street, and yet we were only a short drive or walk away from the local shops. We also really appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was, and the extra little touches like providing us with some coffee pods, teabags, etc. The hosts were great to communicate with and we hope to return for another stay.
