The cozy house is located in Verga, about 800m away, from the nearest beach.
In the neighborhood you will find S/M (600m), traditional taverns (200m) and bars for your nightlife.
Within a short distance you will also enjoy many beautiful beaches such as Almyros (1.5km), Mikri Mantineia (3km), the large sandy beach of Kalamata (2.5km), Santova's sandy beach (8km).
Kalamata's Ktel (bus station) is at 7km and Kalamata's International Airport (Captain Vassilis Konstantakopoulos) is just 15km away.
Kalamata city has many cultural events all year round, you will visit its medieval castle and museums, you will walk through the streets of the historic center and the large park with the award-winning open-air museum of trains.

The house itself was very comfortable. The location was very good for visiting the area, although a car is a must even just to buy groceries at the nearest grocery store.

Back from a lovely week stay in Mariellen. Spotless accomodation in a great location. The property was lovely and spacious and was well equipped with everything we needed.
It was the perfect base for exploring the area with the beach close by, local restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again in the future.

This property served as our "home base" for our 2 week stay in Greece. We were entirely satisfied with our stay at Mariellen. The property itself is roomy, modern and in a quiet yet central area. Within walking distance, you can find cafes, restaurants, grocery stores and a private beach with the most amazing sunset views. The property and furniture were in excellent condition. Lots of closet space, comfortable beds and most importantly, 4 functional AC units to cool us off. There is enough room to park 3 cars. The property is gated which helped us feel safe. We thoroughly enjoyed spending many hours each day on the large and shaded wrap-around balcony. The wifi was reliable. Having a smart TV and Netflix access in 2 of the bedrooms was a bonus. The shower had good water pressure. We used the washer several times with no issues whatsoever. Lastly, the owner was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. I really have nothing negative to say. We are already thinking of re-booking this property if we visit Kalamata again next year. Thank you for making our stay memorable.
