About this house rental
Experience the Lew House by world famous architect Richard Neutra, father of Mid-Century Modernism, Southern California's iconic signature style, personal home of Stokely Chaffin, producer of such hits as I Know What You Did Last Summer, Sweet Home Alabama, Freddy v Jason and Snakes on a Plane. (You know? Arthouse movies.) Featured in Interior Design, Elle Decor, Dwell, and the LA Times Magazine, the Lew House is located in the Hills just a half-mile above the Sunset Strip and West Hollywood, just high enough to have views of but not hear too much from the home of LA's best nightlife, food and shopping.

There are four equally luxurious en suite bedrooms. The Fireplace Room has a queen bed, fireplace, enormous, custom-built wood closet, great views, and terrazzo bathroom; the Deck Room has a king bed and its own outdoor deck and great views; the View Room has a king bed, tons of storage, an amazing work area, and the best views in the house; The Pool Room has a queen, its own kitchen and bath, and a luxurious mix of city and garden views. There are comfy beds for eight adults, and children are welcome in multiples. There are air mattresses, couches, blankets, play structure, bamboo forest, and plenty else to explore. The pool has a motorized cover and is completely gated, as is the entire flat, grassy 20' x 60' garden.

We absolutely loved our stay! This iconic mid-century home gave the perfect Hollywood Hills vibe. The architecture is truly a one of a kind Neutra masterpiece. We sipped champagne and took in the city lights of LA and pretended we were back in the days of Old Hollywood glamour. The views are outstanding! There’s tons of space to relax and enjoy. The beds are very comfortable and luxurious. Plus you are right in the heart of West Hollywood and all the amazing restaurants and bars. Phenomenal stay and I would absolutely recommend! We hope to be back!
