Inside the accommodation you can feel the history and it is precisely the mix of styles in the rooms and the antique furniture that give the house its charm. The house offers the perfect setting for relaxed and active days full of speed and fun, either on foot or on two wheels. In the evenings, you can try out new recipes together in the kitchen and talk about your experiences late into the night. On warm days, you can take your meals out onto the balcony or terrace.
Short and long hikes, mountain biking, mountaineering, climbing, fishing, swimming, SUP and kayaking. The possibilities are endless. The river Orkla is one of the most famous salmon rivers in Norway and therefore attracts many anglers. If you would like to go swimming, you can reach the beach after a short drive. The classic mountain tour is the triangle in the Trollheimen mountain area, which is ideal for a full-day tour. You can also visit the town of Orkanger, which lies at the mouth of the river. Keen hikers can explore the nature reserves of Rönningen, Munklia, Midtskogvatnet, Urvatnet and Jakopsmyra.
