Beautiful location
Sadly no restaurant and quite remote

An amazing location right on the river. Even if the property is full there would be so much room for everyone to sit, walk in the grounds or lay by the pool. It really felt like you were the owner of a palatial estate. The location is so good that we stayed for the hamper dinner both nights.
Everything was top notch.

Wonderful property in a quiet bay along a beautifl part of Douro valley. Well maintained and skillfully decorated rooms and gneral areas make you feel at home and comfortable. Excellent breakfast.
Not much to be improved, We feel the inroom jacuzzi's are somewhat outdated and a concept of the last century. They also take away space that could be better used for a desk and a chair.
Last but not least the floors in the bathroom of our suite were extremely slippery when wet. This is an accident waiting to happen.
