About this house rental
Experience a stunningly refurbished lakeside retreat, perfect for family fun regardless of the weather. This home boasts an engaging game loft, complete with a ping pong table, nine 3/4 arcade machines, three digital pinball machines, and a variety of board games. For movie nights, enjoy a massive 100-inch projection screen that conveniently retracts above the cozy living room fireplace.
The interior, adorned with rich wood finishes, features four inviting bedrooms, including a special bunk room with four integrated bunk beds, ensuring comfortable sleeping arrangements for all. The house is well-equipped with five bathrooms, offering a mix of one full, two 3/4, and two half bathrooms to accommodate your family's needs.
Outside is a fire pit overlooking the lake, a large driveway, and lawn. Many outside/lawn games are included.
In the Summer - Power boats are allowed on Lake Massasecum and it is also the perfect place for canoes, kayaks, great fishing and bird watching! Mount Kearsarge and Mount Sunapee are also nearby with great hiking trails for all ages!
In the Winter - There are two skiing locations nearby with Mount Sunapee only a 15 minute drive away, and Pats Peake only 10 minutes away. Snowmobiling, Ice Fishing, and Cross County Skiing are allowed on the lake. *As always, it’s very important to test the ice thickness for safety.
Lake Massasecum is located in Bradford, NH and is just south of the Lake Sunapee region.
Disclosure - Dock is required to be removed from the water by the NH Department of Environmental Services in the Winter months and therefore will not be in the water from Labor Day until Memorial Day.

The property was immaculate and exactly as described in the listing. The host was incredibly responsive and provided us firewood for the fire pit mid stay. Stunning views from the lake side deck which was such a pleasant surprise. The location was perfect, just a short walk to a sandy beach. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation on the water.

The house is newly renovated nicely and is beautiful, warm exposed wood throughout. Amazing game room and games, it is a rare lake house where a rainy day indoors is still a great day. A bit of noise being close to the road but the house is designed so you don't see the road, and have wonderful nature views. There is a town beach within walking distances which is a nice bonus.

We just got back from a fantastic stay and I couldn't wait to share our experience! From the minute we walked in, the place felt like a home away from home, but with all the perks of a vacation spot. The entertainment options were a total hit! We had a blast playing with the arcade machines and discovered a few new board games that the kids now love. Plus, movie nights were top-notch with an amazing screen that made us feel like we were at the movies. And the bunk beds for the kids were a real treat!
Outside was just as cool as the inside. There's a great area where we played games, ran around, and made a ton of smores! Sitting around the fire pit, looking at the lake, and sharing stories while roasting marshmallows, really made our trip special. It's these little moments that we'll remember forever.
We made some wonderful memories, and I'm pretty sure we'll be talking about this trip for years to come. If you're on the fence about where to go for your next family vacation, I can't recommend this spot enough!
