TULUM MEDANO BEACH

The apartment is quite large for the price compared do other ones I've stayed at in this town. It is very close to Cabezo beach which was important for me because I go windsurfing there. It is also very close to the center where most of the shops and resturants are. Nothing is more than 5 minutes away. The apartment is in great condition. This wasn't the case for other places I've stayed at before. It is on the first floor which was good for me because I can easily carry my surf gear down the stairs (the elevator isn't very large). The internet was fast enough for working and watching movies. The owner was quite friendly and helpful. They even left some fruits and water and other stuff for me and asked if I needed anything else to save me some time on the day I arrived. The apartment was equipped with almost everything I needed. It is much better for my needs compared to the other apartments I've tried in this town so far.

There is no balcony so all my wet stuff I came back with from the beach I had to dry inside the room. It also gets really hot. Hotter than outside. And there is no air conditioning. Only fans and curtains to block the sun. I haven't found an apartment with air conditioning in this town so far. So it's not worse than the other apartments around. But it does make working on my laptop inside the room unpleasant. Also there is no dishwasher. All the other apartments I've tried so far in this town also had no dishwasher and no air conditioning. But at least this apartment had ceiling fans and also plenty of space around the sink to make hand-washing dishes as comfortable as possible. This is not the case in many other apartments around there. There is also very poor cell reception inside the building. My bluetooth headphones also disconnected when I walked to the other end of the room. I guess the walls are very thick and there are lots of other signals from the neighbours. But at least the wifi signal was great.

Mieszkanie było duże, przestronne i bardzo czyste, dzięki czemu pobyt był komfortowy. Kuchnia była dobrze wyposażona i zawierała większość potrzebnych rzeczy. Bardzo miłym akcentem był również brelok z nazwą miejscowości, który otrzymaliśmy na pamiątkę z Teneryfy.

Największym zaskoczeniem był fakt, że jedna z sypialni była zamknięta na klucz. Rezerwowaliśmy mieszkanie opisane jako dwusypialniowe i nigdzie nie było informacji, że jeden z pokoi nie będzie dostępny dla gości. Brakowało również zwykłego czajnika do gotowania wody, ponieważ dostępny był jedynie ekspres do kawy. Dodatkowo znalezienie miejsca parkingowego w okolicy było bardzo trudne i często musieliśmy kilka razy objeżdżać okolicę, zanim udało nam się zaparkować samochód.

Alles war sehr sauber, die Anweisungen für den CheckIn waren gut, es war alles da, was man braucht. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und man ist schnell überall. Für meinen Mietwagen habe ich immer einen Parkplatz in der Nähe gefunden (Nebensaison).

Es war alles etwas dunkel, dadurch dass alle Fenster zum Innenhof gingen.
