Cozy stay over Easter vacation

We had a lovely stay at this charming apartment in Auronzo, styled like a traditional rustic house from the region. Elizabeth is a very caring and attentive host—she regularly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and solved any issues we had during our stay. She also prepared a thoughtful and detailed guide with clear instructions on using the apartment, along with great suggestions for things to do in the area. On a particularly rainy day, she even recommended a nice spa place, which we really appreciated. The location is peaceful and well situated for exploring the Dolomites. It’s around 30 minutes by car to both Cortina d'Ampezzo and the starting point for the Tre Cime / Drei Zinnen hikes. Auronzo itself also has some nice walking routes and scenic views, making it a pleasant place to spend time even if you're not heading out on major hikes.

Just a few things to keep in mind: the apartment is not modern, so if you're looking for a sleek, contemporary space, this might not be the right fit. The nice decorations and style make up for it. As it's an older house, the insulation isn't perfect—but the cozy fireplace more than makes up for it. Just note that it does require a good amount of wood to keep things warm. There's also a slight damp smell due to limited ventilation, but it’s something you quickly get used to. Additionally, the electrical system is a bit dated and can’t handle too many high-consumption appliances at once. We learned to avoid running the kettle and dishwasher simultaneously to prevent tripping the circuit. Nothing major, just something to be aware of.

Non abbiamo mai trovato un appartamento così accogliente, caldo, pulito, curato in ogni dettaglio con gusto. Tutto il calore di un appartamento tipico di montagna. A due passi dal supermercato e un ottimo panificio. Peccato siano volati i giorni mentre eravamo lì!

Appena apri la porta ti senti subito accolto da questo ambiente,con questo stile del posto che ci ha fatto impazzire. Locali molto puliti e ordinati. Non ci siamo mai visti con i proprietari ma abbiamo avuto in anticipo tutte le informazioni di cui avevamo bisogno e sono stati super disponibili nel rispondere tempestivamente a qualsiasi nostra domanda o dubbio, L’appartamento è ben fornito,abbiamo trovato di tutto per quanto riguarda la prima colazione (cosa non scontata)visto che si parla di un appartamento in affitto. La cucina aveva tutto quello di cui si ha bisogno,dalle padelle all’olio. Lavatrice,lavastoviglie…insomma tutto

Piccola nota dolente ma può capitare,l’ultima persona a fare la doccia l’ultima sera è rimasta senza acqua calda e il phone dopo pochi minuti si spegneva perché andava in surriscaldamento.ma con un po’ di pazienza ci siamo riusciti comunque,sono cose che capitano

Appartamento e Host che meritano la lode!

Appartamento abbastanza ampio da soggiornare comodamente in due adulti e tre bambini. Fornito di tutti i comfort e decisamente oltre le aspettative per quanto riguarda quanto messo a disposizione da Elisabeth. L'attenzione nei confronti dei bambini è palpabile, oltre a lettino e culla richiesti abbiamo trovato scalda biberon, vasca per il bagnetto, giochi per ogni età, libri e persino due bob! La posizione dell'appartamento è ottima sia per chi vuole rimanere in paese che per chi ha voglia di girare,la zona. Vicinissima a Misurina, Sappada, Cortina... Elisabeth è stata molto disponibile anche nel darci consigli su attività da fare in zona fornendoci anche contatti utili alle nostre esigenze. Appartamento e Host che meritano la lode!
