Villa Anthia - 2bed with Large Pool

It is a wonderful place to stay with a great room layout. Everything was very clean, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

We were disappointed with the pool service. During our stay, it was quite windy, and the pool became dirty, yet no one came to clean it. Based on our previous experiences with villa rentals, we expected a daily pool maintenance service, as is standard practice. Unfortunately, we were unable to use the pool at all due to this. Additionally, regarding the electricity, Cyprus uses Type G sockets. As international travelers, we weren't prepared for this and didn't have enough adapters. Providing only two adapters for a group of five people was insufficient. It would be highly appreciated if the host could provide at least 4-5 adapters in the room. We ended up having to purchase our own and left them behind for future guests.

Очень уютная вилла с хорошим расположением, тихий район. На кухне была посудомойка и стиралка и даже пачка посудомоечных таблеток для гостей. Удобная парковка прямо возле входа. Местоположение хорошее для путешественников с машиной. До ближайшего пляжа 7 минут на машине. Были с детьми, поэтому наличие собственного бассейна очень порадовало, дети были на виду. Бассейн небольшой, но освежиться и поплавать немного можно. Есть удобные лежаки. Вся техника: плита, духовка, микроволновка в исправном состоянии. Порадовали принадлежности для гриля, все было очень удобно для жарки мяса. Удобные матрасы, но подушки твердоваты на наш вкус, хотя в целом терпимо. Удобное заселение, с ключами в сейфе у входа и такое же выселение. Спасибо хозяину апартаментов за прекрасный отдых. Дети остались очень довольны, особенно бассейном.

Рядом была дорога, с которой вечером иногда доносился громкий шум от проезжающих мотоциклов, но ночью было тихо. Из оснащения для кухни не хватило кухонных ножниц и чеснокодавки, но справились ножом. Тостер работал, только если держать кнопку рукой, кнопка сама не фиксировалась.

The WiFi, a lot of choices for film entertainment. The beds very comfortable, and the villa was very clean. The staff especially Antonis was so helpful and responsive. Kitchen was very well organised with everything needed

The pillows were uncomfortable and is maybe good to consider to change them and to have two pillows per person. We haven't used the kettle as something was at the bottom. Everything else was good

Firstly, the positives. The Villa itself was stunning and was very well maintained and well furnished. We know the area well and the villa is in a great location and on a lovely site. I would definitely want to come again, but only if the owner changes the pool maintenance company and probably the management comany too.

I think it would be fair to think that for many coming to Cyprus for a villa holiday, the pool is a really important factor. The advert shows 6 sunbeds. On our arrival (on a Monday), there were just 3 (for a pre notified party of 4). The level of the water was at the bottom of the skimmers and ladder rungs, and there was a dirt around the edge where it had not been cleaned (not a stained liner, actual removable dirt that stuck to everything we put in the pool). As a result, I had to fill the pool myself. In addition, the cleaning net was left at the bottom of the pool. Despite multiple requests, it took until Friday to get another sun bed and Saturday before they came to clean the pool. Nobody came anywhere near the pool for the rest of the 13 night holiday (photos taken of the hose and net to show they had not been touched). I've never had such poor pool maintenance in Cyprus and this was well below what would have been expected to maintain a hygienic pool.
