MERRY - 2Bed Bungalow in the outskirts of Ayia Napa, 5min drive from Resorts' Center

Please keep this little gem a secret !!! We had a wonderful stay at Villa Merry Again in Ayia Thekla. The villa was exceptionally clean, well maintained, and located in a very peaceful and quiet area, making it the perfect place to relax. Antonios was an excellent host and was always available whenever we needed assistance. Nothing was too much trouble. When we were unable to use the souvla, he kindly provided a foukou that same afternoon, which was greatly appreciated and allowed us to continue enjoying our barbecue plans. We would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-equipped, and relaxing stay in Cyprus. Thank you, Antonios, for your hospitality – we would happily stay here again.

The villa is in a great location although you do need a car which we had already hired. The pool was kept very clean. On first glance at the villa it is clean and has all the necessary facilities. It does need some tlc and a repaint both inside and outside. Both bathrooms need a good deep clean as areas on tiles and around shower and bath need cleaning with something to get rid of limescale and mould build up. Drains need to be cleaned out as build up of water in shower. All floors need a deep clean. The outside gates need sorting as it was a struggle to open and close them. There are not enough utensils in the kitchen and the kitchen knives need to be sharpened or replaced. The microwave wasn’t working and was replaced with a used one where the paint inside was flaking off. The Ironing board needs replacing. Some tiles on one of the pillars on the outside area had come off and need to be stuck back on. The cleaners came for a mid stay clean but only did the basics. No wiping down of areas or dusting was done and they never touched the outside areas or furniture. Just expect a bit more for the cost of hiring the villa as there is lots of competition with villas for hire.

We loved our stay at the Villa where it was a peaceful location apart from a little noise from the road and dogs barking now and again but did not spoil our stay.Pool was excellent and well maintained.We wished that their was an outside shower. We have be going to Cyprus for a number of years and we have had few stays in Villa but the Merry was the best Villa we have had.

We had a relaxing, lovely holiday in Villa Merry in Ayia Thekla. The location of the chosen holiday resort is very good and we would love to come back to Ayia Thekla.
